A stressful time made easier by the sales negotiators

It was a big move for us after being in our previous house for 48 years. We came and visited loin court not sure if it was what we wanted .After a few visits we knew it was what we wanted . Jack showed us around ,every time we had a question he answered it with great knowledge and professionalism .Also lovely Natalie explained everything nothing was too much trouble for either of them . From 1 st visit to help with the choosing of the decor and appliances they both made the transition pleasant . Even the after care from Natalie as been helpful.Thank you both

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations, particularly at what should be an exciting stage of the journey. At Westlands View, reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis for buyers who are in a position to proceed. While we had progressed your part-exchange enquiry to valuation stage, the plot was reserved by another customer during that time. We appreciate how disappointing and frustrating that must have felt, and we apologise for the upset caused. We always aim to communicate clearly and transparently, and we’re sorry if this was not your experience. A member of the team has tried to contact you directly, as we would genuinely welcome the opportunity to discuss this further

Stay well away from LIONCOURT HOMES

Do yourself a favour and don’t purchase a property from Lioncourt homes. Belfry homes will do you all a much better job ! The contractors that they have actually doing the work are about as useful as an ejector seat on a helicopter ! Because they don’t employ their own trades people, these LAZY IDOIT contractors just come in and do a RUBBISH job then leave site once they have their money. Probably to never be seen again. I had just over 50 snags and to this current day they are STILL not all complete. I could type all day complaining about this half arsed service that they provide, but all’s I would say is you should go a try to view someone’s Lioncourt home property that they have actually started living in. Ask them what their experience was like because I can assure you they would not be satisfied. Once the builders get so far along the project, any problems after a certain time they will just tell you to “ speak to customer service “ as they can’t be bothered to help.

Lioncourt Homes Priory Meadows

We have just moved into Lioncourt Homes Priory Meadows. Tracey in Sales has been excellent in making the stressful process of buying and selling a house much more bearable. The house is very well built with really good finishes and was immaculate when we moved in. We have been told to tell them about any snagging and they will fix them immediately. Really good personal customer service and we would thoroughly recommend them.

It’s a real pleasure working closely with Jas and Hannah at Martley Fields, alongside Nat at The Green. Each of them are a huge asset to the team, consistently going the extra mile to make sure everything runs smoothly. Lioncourt Homes are already a great company to work with, and their team genuinely reflects the high customer service standards they’re known for. Communication is always straightforward, clear, responsive, and proactive - which makes working together easy and enjoyable. Their approach helps ensure the whole process runs seamlessly for everyone involved. The level of customer care is outstanding. The team are always friendly, approachable, and ready to support whenever needed, which makes a meaningful difference throughout the journey. We would confidently recommend purchasing with Lioncourt Homes.

Priory Meadows, Hempsted. A truly fabulous developement

I moved into my house almost three months ago, first resident on this site, so I was understandably a little nervous. I can only report the whole experience as being extremely positive. Prior to moving in Debbie and Tracey kept me informed every step of the way. Their professionalism is a credit to this company and when Debbie moved on she made sure Tracey was fully aware of the decisions I had made with her from my kitchen choices to the flooring and everything in between. George, site manager, is also excellent. He manages to juggle the fact that this is a building site as well as my home. I have especially welcomed the way he has kept me informed when my access might be affected or large deliveries are forthcoming. He also keeps apologising for the amount of mud left on the road, but with the amount of rain we have had over the last few weeks I'm not sure he can be entirely to blame. As a company I can only state that the quality of the build, the fixtures and finishes, are of a very high standard. After sales care has been exemplary from the quick response to my 7 day snagging list to the one or two issues that were noted after. The customer care team seem just as quick to resolve the small number of issues I have identified. If you are thinking of buying a new-build house you should certainly consider Lioncourt Homes. They really do provide a personal touch as well as a five star experience.

Interesting and practically designed houses which are built to a high standard. Very little remedial work needed and carried out quickly. The site has been landscaped with due regard to wildlife and maintained.

First new home in 25 years

We only moved in at the end of August and for everyone who has moved house in the past, it can be an extremely emotionally and mentally challenging proccess. We started our purchase at Priory Meadows, Hempsted at the begining of July and had moved in by the end of August. If it had not been for the sheer determination and continued persistence of Tracey and Julie (working in the sales office on the site) calling and liasing with Solicitors, Estate agents and Buyers/Sellers, it is doubtful we would have moved. You can not question their committment to their company and to the house buyer. As for the house we purchased, we have only been in for 6/7 weeks. The house seems very well built (it is holding up to the serious rain we have had in the last 4 weeks) and the specification is very high; solar panels, carpets/lino fitted, turf laid, heatpump, an upgraded kitchen with washer/dryer, dish washer, double oven and upgraded showers in the en-suite and bathroom. The site manager, George, has been exceedingly responsive to our 7 day snagging and even extended it a little further. He even had his own snagging list and these items are also being resolved. 7 days is probably not long enough as the first week disappears when you move into a new home but, all our initial snags were resolved with great communication from everyone at Lioncourt. We are now liasing with Customer Care for house issues and they seem to be pretty 'on the ball' too. It will all take time to see if this excellent service continues but, up until now we can not complain. As usual it takes time for the local authority to get round to recognising a new development but, the sales team keep asking them questions and then let us know where we are in the proccess. As with buying any house, It is a considered purchase and the next 2 years will tell us more about Lioncourts committment to its customers but, for now, all seems to be going really well. Keep it up Lioncourt and special thanks to Tracey, Julie, George and Paul (and of course the house building team who have always been very polite and accommodating to new home owners on what is a working building site)

Priory Meadows- lovely estate

We recently purchased a house in Hempsted, Gloucester in which we moved into in mid December. Throughout the experience we had great customer support from Tracy in the sales team, George the site manager and Simon from aftercare customer services. All of whom were nothing but professional and accommodating throughout the process. We love our new home and even though there were a few minor issues they were dealt with swiftly and professionally. Would highly recommend.

Lioncourt's ongoing impact on Hempsted Village, Gloucester

As a neighbour of the Lioncourt site on Hempsted Lane Gloucester, I would take issue with their environmental standards, having recently cleared a brownfield site to repurpose it for housing. It's an ex-MOD site, with polluted land and has previously flooded due to it's proximity to the River Severn. Yet still it was given permission to build 70+ properties. A circular was sent to say they were going to clear the site apart from protected trees. They removed ALL the perimeter trees or cut them down to 2-3m. Why?10m high screening trees, all cut, so all my neighbours have lost noise, light and dust screening. Birds and other animals have needlessly lost habitat. To me this seems to be environmental hooliganism, unchecked by the local council?. I welcome their comments and mitigation to re-instate the environment as was. These trees will take a generation to replace, but seems that is of little interest. My property has been devalued for sure along with many neighbours.11/11/23 The road outside the entrance to the site on Hempsted lane was closed on the 30th October 2023 with a one way system in place, making residents take a 1 mile+ detour through the village. This is a major inconvenience and works are only due to finish after 6 weeks on the 8th December. The Police would do well catching cars ignoring the no entry signs and driving down to the roundabout.25/11/23 The road from the roundabout is now completely closed. There is little sign of works but huge disruption to the whole of Hempsted Village i.e. thousands of people and hundreds of drivers. The local developer claims to be considerate but closing the main access to a village is unacceptable. If there is a fire, emergency services will not be able to pass the width restriction at the top of the village, which I don't think is safe or should have been approved by Gloucester Council. The road should never have been completely blocked at any time.08/12/23 On the day the road closure was due to be lifted it is instead EXTENDED to the 22/12/23 with no warning, no flyer to neighbours. Seems the Builder can DO WHAT THEY LIKE with no consideration for the disruption to THOUSANDS OF RESIDENTS!15/3/24 I did receive an e-mail from Lioncourt regarding the above sent by the site PM, which was unexpected but welcomed, explaining many of the issues, most of which seem due to other services that were beyond their control. Thank you for that. I have adjusted my review to reflect the response and concern. It is good to see a local contractor that does take the time and appears to care. I hope this will continue and the road will be re-instated as it was or better once works are complete.

Throughout our purchasing experience…

Throughout our purchasing experience with Lion Court, Natalie consistently demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism, courtesy, and commitment. From our very first interaction, she ensured that we were fully informed and supported at every stage of the buying process, which made what can often be a stressful experience feel clear, manageable, and positive. When we purchased our property at The Green, we were the only buyers on site at that time. Despite this, Natalie always made herself available and provided us with the time, attention, and reassurance we needed. She approached every meeting with patience and a genuine willingness to answer our questions, explain each stage of the process, and guide us through the various decisions involved in purchasing a new-build home. One of the most valuable aspects of our experience was the access she facilitated throughout the construction phase. Natalie arranged for us to visit the property at several key points, allowing us to see the progress first-hand and gain confidence in the quality and care being put into the build. These opportunities to observe the development of our home were extremely reassuring and helped us feel fully engaged with the journey from start to finish. Her communication was consistently clear, timely, and transparent. Whether it was providing updates, clarifying technical details, or coordinating with the site team, Natalie ensured that we always knew what to expect and what the next steps would be. Her proactive approach significantly reduced uncertainty and contributed greatly to the smooth progression of our purchase. Overall, Natalie’s professionalism, dedication, and customer-focused approach made a meaningful difference to our buying experience. We are sincerely grateful for her support and would not hesitate to commend her for the outstanding service she provided throughout the entire process.

Simon and Gary a great job.

Simon and Gary attended our home today, they both worked extremely hard and did a sterling job. The work consisted of dig out and fill part of our front garden with decorative stone. Again they did an excellent job. Many thanks Tony and Pam Nicholls.

Great customer service

Just moved into 3 year old house in Olney and needed to contact Lioncourt re adding a small extension and sourcing flooring and tiles used. Karen has been most helpful in providing the information we needed, responding quickly to any questions we asked. Build quality is good and fixtures and fittings are high quality. Highly recommended!

Fantastic Homes, Quality Builders

We purchased our home on the Malvhina Court Development back in 2020. We were impressed by the quality of the build and the design of the house. We had a brilliant customer journey throughout the purchasing process. Everyone was supportive and very efficient. We recently visited the new site in Hempstead and were equally impressed with the quality of homes there and the sales staff were very helpful. Happy customers - Lioncourt deserve our 5 stars!

Incredible service at The Green

Completed our first home purchase via Lioncourt Homes at The Green, Rushwick and the process was incredibly simple with the guidance and patience of Natalie & Jack. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble and they worked hard to make sure we were in safe hands. Being first time buyers we visited the home a lot of times and we never got the feeling we were being an inconvenience, which made the process even easier. Thank you both. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services for any future home buyers.

Well done Lioncourt Homes

We recently downsized to a Lioncourt home near Gloucester. From our first visit to their Sales office through to moving in, everyone was patient, pleasant and helpful, including helping deal with an issue in the chain during completion. That support has continued since we moved in, very good service. BTW, the new house is lovely too.

House a health hazard!

We tonight had to move our daughter out of her bedroom as she's struggling to breathe because of mould festering on her ceiling. This is apparently caused because our chimney hasn't been flaunched. Water is coming through the chimney into the loft, wetting our roof joists, soaking insulation and then coming through her ceiling. Who knows how close it's getting to electrics. It's also going down side of house by dormer into ceiling on middle floor below. The damp conditions, aided by wet insulation is breeding mould. The same is happening on the other side of the house in my son's bedroom, also below a chimney. We raised the issue weeks ago and still haven't got any confirmation when this will be resolved or how damage is going to be addressed. Can't get hold of a complaints procedure (customer service picking and choosing what questions they answer) and directiors haven't acknowledged any emails at all. Lioncourt just palm issue off on contractors, sending passive emails with no sense of urgency. We bought a new house to avoid breathing issues (some family have asthma worsened in old properties). Will probably need to move son out of his room soon too. House is only 3 years old and previous owners experienced leak in same place that clearly wasn't dealt with properly. Yet roofers identified lack of flaunching in 30 secs of inspection this time. The leak will have been there from inception but became more apparent after very cold spell and lots of rain Several other neighbors with same or similar issues. Not sure how site manager ever signed these properties off. Definitely not 5 star house builders. Lots of other issues, from plumbing to garages boarded with cardboard but I draw the line at my house not being waterproof, potentially rotten roof joists, loft full of mould, water near electrics and my children not being able to sleep in their own beds. This is all in an executive house. Buyers beware! Owned previous homes built by wimpey and bovis and never ever felt the need to write a review like this and those houses were a fraction of the price! They'll possibly respond to this giving the impression they're dealing with it. Absolutely not fast enough Lioncourt! All it's done for the past 6 weeks is rain and get worse and we still have no idea when it's getting fixed, which is going to be a huge inconvenience in itself.
