Jeff has been round today and fixed everything within the house I’ve had issues getting sorted for weeks he’s got me a new oven in sorted my door out and even sealed my tiles he’s then gone and asked for a skip to be brought onto my drive for my rubbish couldn’t have been anymore lovely throughout the time he was here sorting everything and has taken a massive stress of my back so just wanted to say a massive thank you to Jeff at strata for everything he has done

We have just moved into a house on this development and I can’t thank Sheereen enough. From the moment we put the deposit down in April to the present day she has been amazing. So dedicated, hard working and professional. But most importantly, patient. It took me forever to make my choices, running in and out of the show houses, trying to make a decision, but she just took it all in her stride and gave me the time and help I needed. I feel like she really has done this journey with us. She works tirelessly and nothing is too much trouble. An absolute star. I love the house and the development. Ali is now looking after us very well and Ian has been fantastic. A first rate team.

Anthem Development FANTASTIC

From start to finish Rachel couldn't of been any more helpful throughout my process of purchasing and moving in to my Livorno at the Anthem development in Beverley. Purchasing a property can be stressful at the best of times but Rachel was always at hand to help.Rachel always went above and beyond to help me in whatever i needed and was always kept updated as to the progress. She's a real asset to Strata. The build quality and finish of my home is excellent. Which no doubt was down to Beth the quality manager. Beth has also been very helpful with anything i have needed. To summarise i wouldn't hesitate to recommend Strata to anybody looking at purchasing a new home.

Excellent and professional service

My fiancee and I reserved a Madrid house at the Kudos development in Leeds.Kathryn was incredibly patient with our incessant demands to repeatedly view the show home. Kathryn also moved heaven and earth to help us change our plot to one with a slightly bigger driveway. Then at the 11th hour, we found a totally different house that we fell in love with and pulled out of the Strata home altogether. Kathryn was very understanding, incredibly professional, and massively helpful.I could not recommend either Kathryn or Strata highly enough. Perhaps in the future, a Strata home will be the right move for us, and at that time, I will happily go for it.

Now hour house is warm and looking brand new!

Thank you for your hard work we really appreciate your help for what you have done for us. Our house is so very warmnow for so long without having to put the heating on long hours. We noticed that one hour to two hours is enough to keep our house warm all day! At the moment the weather is not extremely cold but the mornings are just a bit chilly!Still it is marvellous how it remains warm all day after heating the house for a short time! We have been in our beautiful Strata home for three months now and just wanted to say that we are so impressed with the quality of our home. We first visited the site back in June 2020 after visiting a friend who had recently moved in and fell in love with the site. After speaking with Charlotte we quickly made the decision to reserve a plot and have never looked back. Charlotte has been so helpful and supportive with every aspect of the move. Since moving in any little snags we had Ryan, the site manager, has been incredibly understanding and resolves the issue without any hesitations. I would just like to say again thank you to Ryan and Charlotte for making the move to our new home as stress free as possible.

360 - Faultless level of service all round

From visiting site back in May 2021 Charlotte put us at our ease, with a friendly, informal, relaxed yet professional approach when discussing the development, surrounding area and helpful tips and pointers on what there was in the vicinity we knew we were dealing with a great team. Before even reserving we chatted to a couple of people who had already moved in and they gave peace of mind that the site was built and managed to a very high standard. Charlotte would keep us regularly updated, check in on how we were getting on and even if there was no news to give, we'd still get a call to catch up. The wider team at Strata (Melanie and Chelsea on the Assisted Move scheme) were equally excellent - they guided us through the process, gave us solid advice and kept us well updated on how our sale was also progressing. We were super keen to get in ahead of the stamp-duty taper and it was really tight (our build date was due end October) but Charlotte, Ryan and the onsite team did everything they could to get us in and managed to pull the date back to end September. The support post-moving in has been of an equally high standard from Ryan and the team. 4 weeks since moving in, we've had literally had a handful of minor issues (far less than we were anticipating) all of which are in hand or have been resolved promptly and effectively thanks to the team onsite. Overall, we would strongly recommend Strata as a builder to anyone considering a move; the house is solidly built, using great quality materials and finished to a high standard. Thanks Charlotte, Ryan, Melanie, Chelsea and the wider team for making our move a pain-free one and supporting us along the way.

Outstanding house and service

Haven’t long moved into a Strata home on the Encore development. We are really impressed with the quality of the finishing. Our sales representative Sarah was outstanding throughout the process of purchasing. Nothing was too much trouble. She even worked hard to bring forward the completion date of our move to prevent our chain from collapsing. Overall we are very pleased with the house. The rooms are a good size and we are in amongst beautiful green space. We have already raised some minor snags (missing handle from a wardrobe door, issue with living room lights) and these have been fixed promptly and courteously. This is ahead of a more formal meeting in a months’ time to raise any additional snags that we require fixing. We have a named contact who we can raise any issues with so we are secure on the knowledge that if there are any issues we can contact someone. We are absolutely delighted with our forever home and we want to thank Sarah and everyone at Strata for all of their hard work in getting us in.

Brought a house on Strata Verve

Brought a house on Strata Verve. We were very nervous on buying a new build, especially when we are right next to the building site, however, we have been so impressed with the build quality and care. Sheereen was amazing from first seeing the house, following up and helping us get into the house in good time. She really looks out for the customer and does everything she can. Ian the site manager has been amazing with a few small issues we have had have been resolved same day, and he has been helpful through the whole process. You can tell he is very experienced in the trade and it makes a big difference. Ali has been our customer care manager who again, amazing follow up and looking out for the customer, all in all the team on this site is amazing and have really made buying a new house for our family enjoyable and a great experience. All of the other trades on the site are always polite and considerate which makes a big difference. Thanks Sheereen, Ian and Ali.

We are looking to buy a new home so we thought we would check out the Strata Esteem development in Dishforth.Olivia welcomed my wife and I with such enthusiasm and made every effort to answer all of our questions. She was so pleasant, honest and knowledgable. This has been the best sales experience we have ever had when searching for a new build house. Olivia gets 5 out of 5 stars! We actually found a house that we thought would suit the bill but sadly it wasn’t available. Overall we are fairly early in our journey with Strata, but if our experience with Oliva @Esteem is anything to go by, then this should be an enjoyable journey with the home we want (and expect) at the end.Olivia has been nothing but professional, informative, detailed, knowledgeable, polite and friendly. Since Sheereen has been involved in the purchasing of our family home, we have experienced nothing but professional, informative and friendly help and advice! Sheereen has been responsive to emails and made our journey with strata an enjoyable and stress-free one. As for site manager Ian, no ask is too big or too small. He has provided us with several methods to contact him and responds to communication swiftly, often getting the job done that very same day! What more can you ask for! Like Sheereen, Ian knows exactly what level of service we like and come to expect from Strata and we feel like we have had a very bespoke service / experience throughout! This is our second Strata home and would highly recommend moving with Strata to any of our family or friends!

A continued shambles

I love the response from Strata to another post about our Epitome development in Wakefield. "The POS area is largely completed and now being maintained, but there is still a smaller section that Applebridge occupy where they are set up."Clearly no-one from Strata ever bothers to visit our site, or look at the view from my home. The POS area is not largely completed and the Applebridge section is not small. There is also a further area of overgrown wasteland that is neither being maintained or used, but should be part of the communal green. The rest of the response from Strata is typical of the months and months of battling we have had. Residents on the estate are simply told to sit and wait, and we'll hear at some point in the future about supposedly planned remedial works. This has been going on for over a year, and months and months pass with little or no activity. There is no plan, no schedule, no end date. Residents are shown absolute contempt and simply told to "shut up and wait."** UPDATE **"I understand your complaint is now being dealt with by our complaints team."If you mean "I understand your complaint is now being fobbed off, ignored and not dealt with by our complaints team" then yep, you've got it!The latest from your complaints team was that there is no plan, no schedule, no end date, no completion date in sight. Pretty much the same thing everyone else from Strata has been saying for over a year.** UPDATE **And now we're told that work that was due to happen in September, now isn't starting until November. No reason, no explanation, no apology. Simply a "revised plan" from the contractors.

Epitome Estate Wakefield Our Strata journey started positively. The customer service team and sales process appeared seamless.Exchange day October 19 (4 months later than expected) - we arrive and the builders, carpet fitters and cleaners all look shocked to see us! Our house demonstration was a shambles and I leave in tears having had our special day ruined. The on-site Site Manager was still around and did little to help our support. Initial snags were dealt with in a timely manor.Our understanding was that our estate would be completed by March 2020.Lockdown and the pandemic hits.6 months no work. Since August 20 work has been sparse to say the least! Our house overlooks the works compound, tin cabins, rubble, rubbish and metal gates. The beautiful green we were promised and expected to see still feels a million miles away! I liken Strata and Applebridge to two petulant toddlers who consistently blame each other for the complete lack of anything!! As we approach our two year anniversary our frustrations have reached boiling point. The mental strain of living on building site is more than taking its toll. With no end in sight my advice would be to avoid Strata.

Do yourself a favour and don't buy from Strata

Strata make Persimmon Homes look good and that's saying something. Strata do not care about their customers, all they care about is getting their money. We've lived at the Epitome development for almost 3 years and we have metal cabins and a builders dumping yard directly outside of our front house which takes up 50% of the green we were promised. Nobody is at site and we can't get any honest answers with timings from Strata. I'm sick of being fobbed off. Stop building new houses and finish off the ones you started! DO NOT BUY FROM STRATA!

Stay away from this company. Our Epitome development has been a circus. Honestly if ever the term Cowboys was applicable it should apply to this company. Three years after moving into our home, with the understanding the site would be complete that year, the site is a building site with people sporadically turning up. I would not recommend buying a house from this company at all.Carla, I am happy to communicate on here as I know I speak for 90% of the residents of Epitome. Please provide definitive dates this disgrace of a development will be completed so we can have any chance of spending time in our house without living in the middle of a construction site

A great experience

We reserved plot 118 in November 2020 and from start to finish was an easy journey thanks to Sheereen and Strata's legal team. We got our keys in February 2021 so everything happened quickly and on time even though covid was still on the scene.Sheereen helped us every step of the way. She was always friendly, approachable and happy to help with any of our queries. We felt we had a lot of support throughout the process. We moved into the property gradually and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the build... we have found strata to have nicer finishes than some of the other new builds we have been in. Ian the site manager was always on hand and happy to help or point us in the right direction. Our snag list was completed thanks to Andy and we are extremely happy with our new home.

We moved into our Seville Strata home on the Attraction site (plot124) in December and are in love with the house, but the main reason for this review is to praise the customer care throughout the whole processFrom the start of choosing the plot and putting our house up for sale, (throughout a long covid delay moving in) and up until moving day, Jayne in the sales office was absolutely briiliant. She kept us up to date and informed every step of the way and couldnt be more helpful with putting us at ease at each step. Once moving in, the site manager Carl has been fantastic, he has been and still is, on hand to answer any queries and work through our snagging list (of mostly minor issues as in all new builds). He never fails to return a phonecall or text even outside of working hours going above and beyond for us.More recently with an issue we had with our garden, James at the customer care team has been amazing and was on hand to resolve our issue, keeping us regularly informed and updated throughout. The issue is now fully resolved and we are very happy with the result and couldnt have asked for a better outcome or service from the team! So thankyou!Maria and Matt and family

My partner and I have recently moved into a Palermo on the Verve site in Castleford. Having had a bad experience moving into a new build previously (persimmon) we were naturally wary about buying another new build property. From day 1 Sheereen in the sales office was absolutely amazing and put us at ease straight away. She was kind and polite and was always on hand to help with any questions we had. If she didn't know the answer she would always find it out and get back to us very swiftly. Once we moved in we have dealt with Ian the site manager who has also been fantastic. He is really approachable and has arranged to put right our minor snags within days of us raising them (only about 20 compared to over 180 in our previous house) Overall we are very happy with our new house and cannot fault strata in away throughout the whole process. Hopefully we will not be moving again but we would have no hesitation in recommending strata to anyone thinking of buying a new house.

Attraction Hull. Since the beginning, Strata have been absolutely amazing. Beth at Strata has been really helpful and supportive and went above and beyond for us throughout the process and the purchase of our forever home. Nothing was too much trouble and Beth was always at hand to help.She kept us in the loop through out and she’s honestly the most genuine, loveliest woman. Having had previous bad experiences with other home builders it was lovely and refreshing to actually have someone that genuinely cares about us. The homes are beautiful and any snags are dealt with and rectified promptly. We only had a few touch ups that needed doing which was dealt with swiftly and to high standards. I only have positive things to say about Strata. If you are searching for your forever home, then these are your people! Honestly. Outstanding customer service and gorgeous homes!
