We can’t recommend Steve from JI highly enough. From our very first conversation, he was professional, knowledgeable, and completely on top of every detail regarding our house sale. We were involved in a particularly challenging chain, and the process lasted several months, but Steve handled it with real resilience and determination. He was with us every step of the way. He was relentless in pushing things forward, constantly communicating, and chasing for updates. Whenever obstacles came up, he tackled them calmly and proactively, which made a stressful process feel far more manageable. He really went above and beyond to do the best he could to keep things moving forward. 10/10 Toby Hartley is knowledgeable and fantastic to deal with. After a poor experience with another agent, I found JI Estates and I can honestly say they have been amazing throughout. JI Estates are a forward thinking, proactive, hands on agent and from initial contact to completion I have had no complaints or issues. The walk around video they did was brilliant and helped us get viewings almost immediately. Toby has kept me informed and chased the other parties involved with urgency and we finally got to completion after teetering on the edge due to circumstances beyond his control. JI estates have been great on my recent property sale. An accurate initial valuation, great photos / video tour were created and the property was marketed well. Viewings booked in within a couple of days of the advert going live! From the viewings arranged I received multiple offers! Cannot recommend JI Estates enough. We purchased our house through Steve (and Jamie at the time) in 2016, and they supported us every step of the way. When it came to selling the same house 8 years later, we called Steve at JI Estates straight away. Within a day of our call, Steve found time to come by and offer a valuation - followed by another visit to take photos etc. The house was listed within 1 week of us instructing them. When it came to taking photos, Steve made sure the lighting and our kids toys didn't distract from the rooms (the rain didn't help that day but he took brilliant photos). So much so, Steve helped me and my wife manoeuvre my temp working station to make sure photos of the house looked neat and presentable - something he didn't have to do. Once the house went live, we had emails from Toby and Tom straight away - keeping us informed of interest.. We sold the house over the asking price after 2 days of Steve and Tom holding viewings. Unfortunately, we hadn't secured a house to purchase and after several months of keeping our buyers warm, our buyers eventually secured a home elsewhere, understandably. JI Estates didn't push us to relist, they were led by us and how we wanted to work. We decided to relist a few months later - and again we ended up getting a higher offer than asking price (higher than the previous year's offer too!). Steve showed us several houses off-market and on-market all throughout this (eg over the span of a year!) and really treated us with utmost compassion and patience. We wanted to make sure we found a house we loved that was priced for us, and he fully understood that. After finally securing a house with a different estate agent (a chain in Saltaire who we wouldn't recommend), Toby, Steve, and Tom had a really tough 7 months of keeping our buyers warm due to no fault of ours or theirs, but due to the other estate agent through who we were purchasing. Rather than panicking our buyer or withholding information from them, Toby and Steve really thoughtfully managed the situation with them and with us - using their experience with other probate houses to give confidence to all parties. In the end, we managed to complete our very tricky/difficult chain on the day our buyer's mortgage offer extension was due to lapse - and JI Estates (the full team) played a substantial part in this. If we had any other estate agent, we are sure we'd have lost our buyer and inevitably lost our dream house. Their fee is worth its weight and more - as they really do secure you the best possible purchase price on the market, and their customer service and communication is unmatched. We've been viewing houses with loads of local estate agents but JI Estates are more knowledgeable, easy to chat with, and the team are so well informed of all houses/clients. You're never having to regurgitate updates, as Steve/Tom/Toby always know where things are (and work brilliantly as a team). My wife and I have and will continue to always recommend JI Estates. Thank you again Steve, Toby, and Tom!!

Very Bad Service I called Ji Estate on Saturday the 24th January at 9:44 am and booked a viewing for Tuesday the 27th January at 11:30 am. My family came from another city especially for this viewing, but no one from Ji Estate showed up. After waiting for a long time, I called again and was told that there was “nothing booked in the diary.” This is completely unacceptable. If all calls are recorded, management should listen to the call and take action. Customers time should not be wasted because of such unprofessional behavior. Very bad service

I was recommended JI from a friend to sell my house, due to great local knowledge of the area my house was in. Steve was brilliant from the start, having lived in the area for most of his life, he knew how to value my house correctly. I had other non local estate agents in originally, however they had undervalued my property, possibly hoping for a quick sale and a quick fee. After one day of viewings my house sold at the right price, but more importantly to the right buyer. Since the initial accepted offer, everything went smoothly and there weren't any snags down the line. Added to that the agent fees were very reasonable compared to other agents in the area. If you want to sell your house at the right price, right buyer, unrushed, understandable process, have a smooth personal process tailored to you and good agent fees, then I can only recommend to use Steve and JI.

We used JI for both our own sale and our onward purchase. We would be hard-pressed to fault any aspect of the service given. From original ‘testing-the-water’ valuation of our house through to completion last week (and, indeed, post-completion), the support and guidance has been exemplary. JI found us a buyer for our house very quickly and, when this unfortunately fell through down-the-line due to unforeseen circumstances, they strategically found us a new buyer with near-immediacy. Communication was also excellent through the entire journey from valuation to completion. We would wholeheartedly recommend JI for their service during our house move and thank all three of them for their work on our property, especially Toby who seemed to work tirelessly for our sale and purchase to go through.
