A little late to write a review however its better late than never! 😀 Bought our first home with Newboulds & Co in January 2022 and I must emphasise they are truly a perfect example of how an estate agency should operate. The team are such thorough professionals and always ready to go an extra mile to help. Had an amazing experience with David Long whilst Barry Fog and Leah supported when David was away. Not a day went by without these amazing people updating me throughout on the progress of the property. I was thoroughly updated through every step of the buying process. David was our personal contact throughout the buying process. He was always very reliable, honest, friendly and thorough. Always ensured the emails were answered swiftly without any hesitations and went above and beyond to keep the progress of the property running smoothly. He also proactively engaged with the seller and solicitors throughout which reflected in us getting the property and keys in 2 months time. Having been an estate agent many years ago I'd like to think I'd have been prepared for the pressures of a house sale/purchase - not quite! However, David and the team were my only go when I required updates (even on my sale which Newboulds had no involvement in). They worked hard for their vendor and kept me (as a buyer) fully up to speed, checked in on days off and at weekends and made what was a long and stressful purchase (due to lower end of chain) a lot easier. We sold our flat with Newboulds in Sep 2021 and could not praise the service enough! David and the team have got such a personal touch that is very often lacking with estate agents. Do not hesitate - sell or buy with Newboulds!! We were originally on with a different agent, but 6 months later we still hadn’t sold. Asking Newboulds to be our estate agent was the best decision we ever made when it came to selling our property. It eventually took 2 years (on and off) to sell our property. This was through no fault of Newboulds, but through many sales failing due to issues with COVID-19, mortgage lender issues and paperwork issues. We had every issue imaginable. This did not prevent any enthusiasm from David, our agent, he did not stop helping us and working with us tirelessly to achieve the desired result. We eventually got that sale. Where to start? Our move really was "one for the ages" type saga. "never seen anything like it" was a common refrain from estate agents, solicitors, parents, friends etc. One consistent throughout that enabled EVERY stage to go as smoothly as possible (sometimes that was smoother than others) was the utter excellence of David and Barry. I had an excellent experience with Newboulds & Co for my recent property sale. I have worked in prior years with other local agents so have a basis for comparison. David Long at Newboulds went far above my expectations. This was a challenging property to market and sell because of its condition, the owner outside the UK in a different time zone and with a probate solicitor also in the communications loop. At the initial agent valuation (one of three I obtained), David was straightforward and helpful. He gave me good background market information and evaluation of what price might be possible, not just a high valuation to secure the listing. The marketing plan was solid and evolved as required during the listing. The selling price realized in the end was very close to David's initial valuation. During the course of the listing the property had to be re-marketed. David's communication on status and progress by phone, and email was always timely and on point . Whenever needed he promptly provided my solicitor with formal status updates and his advice on offers received. In addition, as I live outside the UK, David was willing to take on the extra tasks of monitoring the property to meet insurance requirements and obtaining trades quotes when it appeared work might be needed to conclude a sale. I feel this was a level of service and commitment to the client that went beyond normal expectations of a listing agent. Throughout the process, David was always willing to quickly address my questions and concerns. He was also able to suggest a creative and non-traditional approach to marketing the property after an early potential purchaser dropped out. David persevered through many showings and obtained a great result on this more challenging property sale. The team at Newboulds office made sure that my messages were passed along and timely contact was facilitated. I have no hesitation in recommending Newboulds & Co estate agents.

Leah and Barry were with us every step of the way with expert, professional guidance finely tuned to fit our needs. We have been extremely happy with all aspects of the process from start to finish. Advice for readying the property was spot on, finding perfect tenants couldn’t have been more efficient, dealing with the formalities was an absolute breeze and any issues associated with the day to day management of the property are always dealt with quickly, transparently, cost-effectively and most importantly to the satisfaction of everyone involved, (especially our tenants). I live overseas and probably wouldn’t have gone down the letting route at all if it wasn’t for Leah & Barry. Now, after a year and a half, they continue to provide solid and consistent service.
