I am incredibly grateful to Jo Costin. She is a true professional. Throughout the entire process, she kept us updated every step of the way and explained everything clearly, making sure we understood each stage. I've tried to view several properties to no avail. Some of the staff are completely incompetent and unprofessional. Given I'm relocating from 3.5 hours away due to a bereavement, am a cash buyer and have no chain, I hoped they would be a little more helpful. Completely messed about with 2 of my viewings. The only person worth a mention in the Old Town office is Luke who did at least try and help with issues.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Luke Boles, who helped me find a beautiful home in Swindon while I was living in London. The whole process could have been quite stressful, given the distance, but Luke made it incredibly smooth and enjoyable. He worked around my limited availability, arranging viewings that fit my schedule, even with the travel involved. Having dealt with a few different agents in Swindon, Luke really stood out. He was efficient, flexible, and truly attentive. Luke took the time to understand my personality and lifestyle, only showing me properties he knew would be a good fit, never wasting my time on options that weren’t right. From the word go, even before the pictures were taken and the property being advertised online, Daisy, Alex, Luke and the team had potential clients walking through the door and getting offers on the table. The team at Bassett are so switched on and super proactive in finding clients, both my properties were sold within a few days. They understand the value of the property, are totally upfront, no nonsense, but kind and polite with it. After visiting and driving 100 miles to the house, which looked perfect in the photos, we arrived to find a hole in the roof and unrepaired water damage in the bedroom and bathroom. I let them know I was interested but insisted the house needed to be fixed up before handover. I was rejected outright, not even a reply, and a few days later, they said it was off the market. I found the whole thing unprofessional.

Purchased our house through them recently, they were great. Knowledgeable and local agent who showed us round both times. The office staff were great, always quick to respond and super friendly and helpful. Slightly kicking ourselves for not using them to sell our house! Only reason this is a 4* review and not a 5*, is because they moved their sales progressing part in house early on in the move, and we did find them a bit lacking, and we couldn't quite work out what their job was. In the grand scheme of things however, it was a small irritation. Would definitely recommend 👌

Dealings with a sale through their Wootton Bassett office, and purchase through through their Wroughton office.. upmost professional service throughout the whole process. I had issues with my solicitor not keeping me informed, but RJ aftersales team was fantastic they took so much stress out of having to deal with my solicitors on my own.. RJ kept me updated weekly on progression, if it wasn't for them I'd of been tearing my hair out.. The house sold quicker than i ever expected it to, so hats off to sales in Wootton Bassett, knowing the market and getting the potential buyers through the door. 100 % recommended, and if i move again i know who I`d be using.
