I had an unplesant experience with this letting agent. When they advertised a property on rightmove, I called immediately and my details were registered. I was told by the receptionist that they would contact me when viewing dates are available. I kept following up with calls twice a week since then to make sure I was not left out. The receptionist/ personnel I spoke with kept telling me she does not know when viewings are going to take place. Only for me to call again this morning and told that viewings has already taken place and landlord has already proceeded with an application. I felt bad about this experience as I was not called or texted about the viewings.My phone was always with me. The personnel I spoke with kept exonerating herself and trying to shift blame on others. I felt left out unnecessarily and perhaps it was intentional.

If you want a personable service from a team that value the people behind the transaction (and not just the commission), then I'd recommend Hunters.

Hunters were brilliant from start to finish in my house move. Amy Buckley was my estate agent and I can't recommend her highly enough. From putting my house on the market, putting me onto the house I bought and holding everything together through two sales falling through she was amazing all the way through. She liaised with my buyers, my vendor, everyone's solicitor and myself and really went above and beyond to keep things on track despite many problems along the way! I have no doubt the only reason I'm in my new house now is through Amy's hard work and determination. Hunters have been brilliant. I'm a landlord and they've helped me with everything so the house is ready and lovely for tenants. Unlike some Sheffield lettings agents, someone always answers the phone and they are super helpful. I had the pleasure of dealing with Amy Buckley throughout the process of buying my first property in December last year. Being a first time buyer and buying alone was initially really overwhelming, but Amy kept me so informed and rang me regularly, to ensure I was kept upto date at every single stage. As well as keeping me informed, Amy was brilliant at chasing the solicitors for me, and always helped to break down the jargon that came with conveyancing, and helped me understand everything that was happening with the house. Professional and effective. I have had a fantastic experience with Hunters estate agents in Crookes. It started in August 2020 when I approached them about selling my house, Stephen came to look at my house and gave me some advice on things that will help it to look good on marketing. I proceeded to do the recommended decorating and they put it on the market a couple of weeks later. I had a number of viewings in September and October, some had second viewings and we had an offer, which we accepted, in Early November. Since then Amy Buckley has been the most helpful lady with any queries. She has chased up both sets of solicitors, liased between me and the buyer, clarified any queries and kept me updated. I have had a regular phone call from her to check in on progress and she has been fantastic with her communication. We completed yesterday. I could not have hoped for a better, more lovely lady to work with. I never had to chase for information, she always kept me very much in the loop about every discussion. I have had an absolutely fantastic experience of this office and this lady and cannot recommend their service enough. Give this lady a pay rise!

I have nothing but the highest praise for Amy Buckley at the Crookes branch of Hunters. This year she sold my father's house for me, working tirelessly to resolve certain issues over several months. I particularly appreciated the fact that she contacted me every week to keep me informed of progress, even when there was nothing to report. I found Amy's manner friendly yet professional at all times, and would definitely go back to her again if I had to sell another house. I've dealt with quite a few estate agents in Sheffield over the past 10 years, and Amy was far and away the best.

We are exceptionally grateful to the Hunters Crookes branch and especially Amy Buckley for the excellent service they provided in helping us sell our first house. They did a great job attracting viewings and good offers in a short space of time. Also, we had a complicated situation as we were buying a property in the US where the sellers needed a lot of reassurance through the process of our sale.
