GoogleBuying a house is a stressful process and, like most people, we have our own horror stories borne of bitter and costly experience, that have affected our perception of how we are treated in a process. This agency fell down hard on communication over something that was really important to us, and we were very upset and more or less resigned to 'yet another' disappointment. But they quickly offered a remedy that was acceptable to us. As always, when dealing with professional people, it boils down not to what was messed up, but how the situation was resolved. This has been, as far as it can be at this point. I look forward to increasing the rating if, after consideration, we decide to proceed with the purchase of a property listed with Welcome Homes.

We understand that waiting for your deposit to be processed can be frustrating.
As explained several times, your tenancy agreement runs until July 2026. Although you chose to vacate early, you remain legally responsible for the tenancy until either the fixed term ends or a new tenant moves in.
We have successfully found a replacement tenant who is moving in this week. Once their tenancy has commenced and your tenancy has officially ended, we will begin the deposit return process in line with deposit scheme regulations.
