Having just bought and sold properties with Mackay we are extremely happy with the service and outcome from our dealings with them. With minimal guidance from ourselves they were able to translate our instructions into the required actions; starting with the excellent marketing photographs and video that showcased our old home to perfection, through to the eventual sale and completion. Adam and his team were always helpful and receptive to our questions. In particular, our first contact, Daniel, was patient and understanding of our position, always available when needed, spearheading the whole process in a professional but friendly manner. Throughout this time Sarah Jackson of Lettings was my principle point of contact and even when I sought to sell the property it was her advice and judgement I trusted amongst all those offering professional advice . She was reliable , communicative , helpful , flexible and above all saw issues from my perspective not those of other parties . I moved into a rented property 2 years ago. The agent who helped me view the property is sadly no longer with mackays but she is now my neighbour, she was amazing. I didn’t think anyone would come close.. We’ve had a few ups and downs but they have generally been brilliant. Rachel is now my main contact and she is very professional, extremely polite and has helped me with a few difficulties we couldn’t have dealt with ourselves. She’s been amazing! We have been using Mackay to manage our rental property since we purchased it through their office three years ago and have been very happy with the service provided. The fee we pay is fantastic value for the peace of mind provided by having such a professional team look after our property and tenants. Knowing that the ever-changing rules and regulations are being addressed is very reassuring to me. Rent is usually paid to our bank account promptly and any issues with the property have been dealt with in a timely manner. Earlier this year our tenants gave notice, we wanted to use this as an opportunity to carry out some maintenance and update the property. The team at Mackay were so helpful giving advice on what would benefit the property most. They were able to recommend a tradesman and liaised with him to get the work completed whilst finding us new tenants. The property was only vacant for about three weeks as our lovely new tenants moved in as soon as the work was completed. I would be happy to recommend Mackay to other landlords.

From the moment I first spoke to Chloe on the phone I really hoped this would be the estate agents to find us our home.. her professionalism and positive energy made the conversation so natural and left me feeling excited to work with this agency. At our viewings Ollie made it so easy and answered all our questions fully with such honestly which left us feeling very confident with them as a company. We then dealt with Paul who again continued the brilliant service and helped us get the place we wanted. I purchased my flat through Mackay in 2018 and had a fantastic experience, so when I came to lease it earlier this year it was a no-brainer to go back to them. Rachel was fantastic and helped me through the leasing process which I'd never done before. No question was too stupid and they did everything they could to arrange viewings around my needs. Mckay property has been fantastic from start to finish. We went to them because of reputation and it was well deserved. My family and I were selling our late father's home and as well as being compassionate to our situation, they were absolute professionals. They began by producing a 3D tour of the house, (which was a service other agents didn't provide) and put together a really detailed portfolio of the house. They were tireless in coming up with new ways to advertise the house. They kept us informed of all developments and were quick to get back to us with when we had questions. We've been renting a property through Mackay Property for over 5 years and have been extremely happy. We have had no real issues with the property itself and have always been able to speak to friendly staff if we did need anything at all. I feel like they really care about their tenants and so ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible. Flat inspections are every 6 months and, as someone who suffers from anxiety, I've been nervous about them but I don't feel that anymore as Rachel is lovely. She's friendly and professional and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mackay Property to anyone. 😊

I live abroad and wanted to purchase a flat for investment. The staff at Mackay visited some local flats, took photos between us we chose a suitable one. It was an excellent choice! After they had organised a few necessary repairs, tenants were quickly found. The rental department handled the tenancy agreement, inventory, referencing, etc., quickly and efficiently. The highly efficient staff managed the property for me, collecting the rent and sending monthly statements, as well as conducting quarterly inspections and sending photos and reports. Due to an unexpected change of circumstances, I decided reluctantly to sell the flat. I spoke to Adam in early January and the sales team started to handle the marketing. I asked him to try to find an investment buyer rather than put the tenants out of their home. An investment buyer was found in less than 4 weeks, so it meant the tenants could stay. Michael Brett handled the sale, occasionally assisted by Paul Johnstone, and the sale went through from start to completion within 6 weeks! Everyone I dealt with, both in the rental and sales departments, were always helpful, and polite, worked hard and gave their best attention at all times. I can’t commend the Mackay’s team, highly enough and will definitely contact them in the future when I want to purchase another property in the area .

Really pleased with the service from Tracy at Mackays. We were looking to Purchase and had dealt with many agents over the 5 months.
