Very good management company who I have used for many years. They have always matched up suitable tenants to my property and the Property Management staff (particularly Kat Keats) look after any ongoing issues in a friendly but also professional way. I would have no hesitation in recommending Intercounty as a management company for landlords.

We had a truly horrible experience with Intercounty’s Home Move team (Nicole and Sheetal) when it came to the return of our deposit.
Thank you for your feedback and for raising your concerns about your deposit return. We are sorry that you were left feeling disappointed with the process. We have looked into this carefully and can confirm that after your move-out on 5th August, the checkout report was issued promptly and we worked closely with both you and the landlord to resolve matters. A resolution was reached and your deposit was returned on 28th August, which is well within the regulatory timescales, although we understand that the experience still felt stressful for you. Tenancy deposits are tightly regulated, and where deductions are proposed they must be substantiated and fairly managed. We always aim to act transparently and to return funds as swiftly as possible. We regret that your experience did not feel smooth, and we truly value your feedback as it helps us to improve the service we provide to future tenants. Best wishes, Adam & The Intercounty Team

Excellent service from Intercounty (Dunmow), selling our house. We certainly made the right choice.I know some folk are tempted to use an online agent, but probably not realising what a good estate agent actually does. It's one thing to publish a few pictures and description on Rightmove, but it's thereon in - once a buyer is found - things need to be closely managed, with constant liaison and chasing between all parties (especially where there is a chain involved - which thankfully there wasn't with ours). A good agent will be experienced in all the pitfalls, potential issues, and help to keep things moving along. The house we are relocating to (which we bought a few months prior to selling this one) was via one such online agent (the most well known one actually) - we were close to pulling out due to incompetence and lack of commitment on their part along with the similarly poor online conveyancers.....There's an old saying - "Pay up and look big"! Sometimes, you really do only get what you pay for. IMO, false economy!Intercounty (we dealt with Andrew, Liz, and Jenny - with Jenny our main contact and driver in our process) were very competent, helpful, and efficient throughout the process, achieving a swift sale and contract process through to exchange.Very happy to recommend, with no qualms at all!

It felt like the whole team knew me and any time I called I was always given an excellent personal service. Everyone I spoke to was always happy to help and as always communication is key and most important. This is where the team excelled.Our property was sold within 2 hours of going on the market and we achieved a very satisfactory selling price. Thanks to Jason and the whole team at Intercounty Harlow, for achieving such a quick sale. It’s clearly a team effort and nice to see in this day and age.

This is a review of the estate management team at the bishops stortford office.More importantly of Jayme Walker.Me and my wife have had an awful experience with our landlord, several problems at our rented property, some minor some much more serious. Which our landlord has been impossible to deal with to resolve these issuses, regrettably in the end this lead to us ending our tenancy. Jayme has been there to help us out so much in the last several months. He has been completley understanding of our problems and feelings towards the situation we were having to deal with. His honest and personal approach to us and how he has dealt with the situation has made it much easier.Jayme went above and beyond to try to make it as pain free for us as humanly possible. It has felt like instead of talking to someone who works for an estate agent i have been talking to a mate.
