FacebookI wouldnt recomend this agency at all. We attending a viewing today in Rush after getting confirmation from Christina. the viewing was at 10:45am today & when we arrived after travelling all the way from Raheny there was no viewing. We were approched by another couple who was also attending the viewing. We knocked on the house & the man inside told us Christina was there at 10:30am with 2 or 3 people for about 15 mins then left. We tried to call the agency & we emailed Christina but got no answer. As we left another 3 people showed up for the viewing. This is very bad busniess & extremely unprofessional. We came with our 3 year old son & I'm also 8 months pregnant so the journey for us was very difficult & stressful. I'd never deal with this company again & I'd never recommend you to anyone.
I am the tenant in Rush and I can confirm that Christina was on time as per the arranged viewing of 10.45am. There were people outside my house from 10.30am but the viewing was arranged for 10.45am and the agent had the courtesy not to come into the property until the agreed time. Christina entered the property at 10.45am to show the people around and did not leave until 11.15am as she had informed me that the viewings are normally only 15 minutes in every property depending on the turnout. My family told me that people arrived up to 11.50am and they were told that the viewing was over. I have rented this property for 1 year and Christina has always been polite and friendly to me and my family and I have had no issues with Smith and Butler Estates

GoogleI could not speak any more appallingly of how Smith Butler Estates treated us when we attempted to secure a rental they were handling. I found Danny (Director) rude, ignorent and dismissive to all 23 parties who showed up on a freezing cold night to view the house. At no time did he engage with anybody and ignored everyne who walked through the door. The post viewing treatment was just as poor. After asking for employment credentials and rental references he then proceeded to ignore all my calls and mails in the following week and then informed us with misinformation of why we had not secured the property. I for one will look to never ever apply for any rental that this company and in particular Danny handles. When this rental market declines I wonder will Danny then decide that perhaps treating people with a little respect and dignity is one of the fundamental maxims of all successful businesses.
Very disappointed in this review. As you will see from numerous other reviewers, I am very professional, approachable and friendly. There was 15 parties at the property you viewed and unfortunately with this amount of persons I am unable to spend a desired time with each individual. Unfortunately as you mention the rental market at the moment is very busy and there will be disappointed viewers, in this case 14 other individuals hoping to secure the property. I would hope that if we do get another suitable property that you wouldn’t turn yourself down the chance to apply based on your disappointment with not being offered this property. I would be more than delighted to show you future properties we have listed to ensure you that the service you expect is the only one which Smith & Butler Estates provide. Kind Regards Danny.

As I have almost no knowledge about the procedure and process of buying or selling properties I found Danny was knowledgeable, nice and patient in answering all my questions in this regard. He made it very comfortable to deal with him during the whole process. He got over the asking price for home. If any of my friends or relatives wants to buy or sell a properly, I would highly recommend Danny as their agent.

GoogleSmith & Butler estates were excellent when selling our property, in particular Danny Butler. They use a professional photographer to take pictures of the house and move furnishings to obtain the best perspective of each room. Danny was showing our property during evenings and weekends which ultimately made viewing easier for potential buyers and enabled us to reach an amazing price above the asking!! Would recommend to all my family and friends! Very good experience.
