Trading Places (Sale) were instructed to sell my apartment in central Altrincham. I was very impressed with the speed of getting it to the market and the interest I received from an early start, resulting in many viewings and plenty of offers which were above the advertised asking price. The offers were validated efficiently and quickly and resulted in a very motivated buyer. The process was swiftly managed and I completed the sale in a timely manner. I would recommend any future vendors to use this Agent and have no hesitation in providing a **5 Star Review*, an extra special thanks to Bev Branch Manager and the team.

The staff at this company are very rude, unprofessional and not understanding at all. When our end of tenancy approached, the people at trading places, in particular JULIE, put everything in our way to delay the process. This has resulted in us having to pay for unnecessary things, and not have our deposit returned as of yet, which I find disgusting as they know we have a newborn baby!! Never mind the cost of living is through the roof at the minute too… They also arranged viewings for our house without telling us until an hour before, which is against the law, and also very wrong again, as I say, we have recently had a baby, and do not appreciate people coming in and out the house without proper notice! If we had a problem and called the office, we was greeted to very rude staff who clearly have 0 people skills and very unprofessional. I would just really avoid this company, unhelpful, never answer the phone or emails, disgusting way of treating people! We have never missed a payment, the house was immaculate when we left it (which JULIE also stated on the phone to us and we have picture evidence of). There is no reason for this company to behave the way they have, and even if there was an issue, there are many different ways to speak to tenants, and just show some professionalism!

Our sale simply would not have been possible if it wasn't for the sheer amount of work Rachel put in. A non-responsive solicitor on the buyer's side, required Rachel to be on the phone for multiple hours every day just to get the smallest update and keep the sale moving. Rachel kept that up for around six weeks from the point at which we were ready to complete to actually managing to. Whilst the process was stressful for us, I'm incredibly thankful to Rachel for going above and beyond to make it possible, and taking what pressure she could off us. All the staff involved in our sale were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you to Bev for her initial guidance on the sale and Lee for doing our viewings. I'd highly recommend having a local agent as well as solicitor to use in your sale/purchase, Trading Places along with Bannister Preston were a perfect combination for us.

We have several letting properties with TP. Both Julie & Mev are very professional & most importantly they are always on the other end of phone. Much better than big letting agents which offer Proptech based apps with no ultimate responsibility. We are already fed up with those agents & moving more properties over to TP. Julie automatically does rent reviews for us & repair are always done with our approval only. There is no one better than Mev & Julie in Sale for letting & managing properties.

We spent nearly a year selling and finding a new house with Trading Places. After an initial bad experience with an online estate agent, Trading Places look up the mantle and their dogged determination got us over the line just in time to avoid paying Stamp Duty. Selling our property was a stress free experience with the team just arranging everything and handling the offers. Even when our first sale fell through, they arranged a Covid-safe open house and sold our house at a great price. When finding one to buy Fiona was determined and communicated excellently with us all the way through the process. Throughout the purchase and sale, you couldn't fault Trading Places, right up to some complications after completion which Ed and Gina dealt with super efficiently. Mehvish was very helpful in aiding me and my partner to secure our rental property. She was very polite and understanding of what we were looking for, offering excellent customer service. The communication was open, (previous agents had been slow with replies) she provided all the details we needed and within less than a week she confirmed we had passed the referencing and had been selected by the landlord. From the first contact with Bev she advised how much the sale price should be , how the sale would progress and the current lengthy time to complete. in all aspects what she said happened. A number of purchasers were found and Fiona took over all the negotiations and after completing finance checks she advised me which one to choose. During the completion process Fiona kept me fully informed of the progress being made unlike my solicitor. She constantly cleared up any queries the buyers solicitor had and got the deal over the line. Trading Places were fantastic from start to finish. There were always professional. I was kept informed every step of the process, when any issue arose they were quick to respond and solve any problem. Fiona handled the sale of my property and I wouldn't have asked for more from her. She went above and beyond. Fiona was my "go to person', she was persistent in getting the process moving. Not only did Trading Places sell my house quickly and efficiently but they understood that I had other pressing things going on (having a baby). Whilst I was unable to communicate they still carried on pushing the process along, and we even received the most beautiful bouquet of flowers from them when our little girl was born. We couldn't recommend Trading Places, especially Fiona, enough!

From the initial valuation with Bev to the viewing team (can only remember Maria's name) and then to Fiona on the Sale side of things, we have been offered a very professional and exemplary service. Fiona has been particularly helpful in taking us through the process and has made herself available to answer any questions and let us know of any developments promptly. Big thankyou to Fiona and the wider team for taking the stress out of the process and for all their advice on the way. It makes things a lot easier when all members of a team are so helpful and approachable expecially since I was heavily pregnant when we decided to do this. It was also much appreciated to always recieve to a friendly reception when we rang by whoever answered the phone and no matter what time of day, even when it was pushing closing time. I would definitely recommend trading places if you want a feeling of a "family run" service when you need to approach them but negotiations are done in a professional, business like manner that is needed to ensure both side of the transaction are happy.

Avoid Julie! It's hard to find the words to describe how unprofessional and unhelpful the agency and especially Julie had been during our tenancy but the peak was when we left the property that we got this very firm email about the things we had to do and how annoying it'll be for them if we don't. We did everything way before the end of the tenancy but on her end she never did the slightest which had as a result to be charged money for things we didn't use. Her laziness and the lies she throws are shocking. I feel bad for our landlord that was a lovely man and always treated us respectfully.

He also told me if he couldn't sell my house at the price we agreed within a week or 2, then I should and could sack them. It turns out he was right to be confident, they marketed it perfectly and handled the whole process perfectly - achieving the higher price I was looking for (that most of the other estate agents said was not possible) and then Fiona and the team expertly handled the rest of it. If you're in Sale and looking at selling your house and what an estate agent that has the local knowledge, a genuine desire to help you get the best deal for your property and to take all the stress out of it - it's Trading Places Sale.

I would highly recommend Trading Places in Sale. I will definitely be recommending them to my family, friends and colleagues in the future. We used them for buying our new home and selling our property. Me and my wife viewed lots of houses and finally came across my dream home which was with Trading Places. We got in touch and spoke to Marie who was extremely helpful. Marie worked her magic and got us the house we wanted and we were over the moon. Marie was always happy to help, would keep you updated throughout and would go the extra mile. We originally used a different estate agent to sell our property but after working with Trading Places for the property we were purchasing, we felt they were much more professional, polite and knowledgable. We decided to the change estate agent and use them, I am so glad we did!. Our house went on the market with Trading Places in Sale and the viewings came flooding in.
