Their professional yet personal approach was reassuring and understanding of my individual needs right from the start. They are knowledgeable, helpful and courteous at all times. Meghan is extremely efficient and has sorted out any potential problems with speed and competence. As a one property landlord, Jordan Fishwick's chosen contractors will often and repeatedly overcharge on parts and labour for repairs. Often this can be over twice the price of the parts when viewed online.

GoogleNicola and Chris were absolutely fantastic throughout the process. We had a complex chain and they managed the expectations of all throughout (including us) and pushed back where needed. They were fair to all parties and kept the momentum going all the way through. Also very easy to contact and available. All in all an outstanding service from Jordan Fishwick and certainly our best experience of working with an estate agent by a country mile. Jordan Fishwick were unprofessional and tenant-unfriendly from the start. After applying, it took over two weeks, and a second application, just to get a viewing. When we finally viewed the property, the agent clearly wasn’t interested. No proper tour, no answers to our questions, and they wouldn’t even open the back door so we could view the garden.

Nothing but praise for William Saunders based at the Wilmslow branch. William worked hard to ensure the purchase went through under extremely challenging time constraints. William kept us informed throughout the process, often challenging others within the chain (including solicitors). I’m certain the chain would have collapsed without Williams interventions.

GoogleI have just sold my property through Jordan Fishwick and had a mixed experience. Communication was always prompt and I got quick replies to emails although the information itself was often confusing or inaccurate. We were told to go with a cash buyer initially as JF advised me my house would be under valued by a mortgage company at some of the offers I received. This sale fell through (no fault of JF). After we'd agreed an offer from another buyer, who I showed round the house myself at 6pm on a Friday, there was no mention of potential undervaluation - apparently this was not a problem any more. We got the feeling they were acting more for the original buyer than us at this point. The sale to the second buyers nearly fell through again however, as the agents we bought with were told by staff at Jordan Fishwick that my sale was only at the survey stage several months in, when in fact the buyers had had a mortgage approved and searches were completed. This led to a lot of unnecessary stress as our sellers understandably panicked and nearly pulled the plug. Having been in contact with JF almost daily after this to chase exchange, I was contacted 24 hours before completion to ask if the contracts had been exchanged - when JF had been cc'ed into everything. A good estate agent if you know your sale will be problem free - not so great if you want reliable/accurate service and advice during the often very stressful process, especially as the seller. I was very grateful I had an excellent solicitor to see the sale through at crucial points.NegativeQuality
Hi Joanna, We appreciate all feedback, but a little surprised here as we felt we did a good job for you, and you emailed us to thank us. Unfortunately, some sales do fall through but we agreed a new sale straight away for £10,000 over the asking price. We chased the sale through to exchange, in a timely 10 weeks. We rented a house with Jordanfishwick for a year from July 2023- July 2024. We arranged for a time for our keys to be picked up and when arriving at the agency, they told us they didn’t have our keys and to go to the house and someone would give us our keys there. Got to the property, no one was there and was charged an extra fee by the moving van company as we had to wait around for their mistake. After living in the property for a month or so we noticed that there we fleas and we were being bitten despite not owning pets. When we brought this to their attention they couldn’t care less about it and even tried telling us it was our fault and we “must” have pets. A few weeks after that we discovered mice in the property which must’ve been the cause for the fleas. Again no interest. Small things such as loose taps and inspections were fine but if we ever called up and asked to speak to our property manager he was always rude and arrogant. Clearly thought just because we’re students we must be trouble and therefore thought the way we were spoken to and even written too was very passive aggressive and not needed. At the end of our tenancy we had our inspection and out check out inventory where it stated the property did not need a deep clean. We then got a lovely bill through asking for £400 in cleaning fees despite this. We disputed and only had to pay £115 as we left the property in a state as to how it was when we moved in. Clean maybe a few moving boxes left behind and that was all. They just seem to want money out of students and put no care into keeping everyone satisfied.

Agent to one of the worst landlords I've ever experienced. Said they worked for the landlord and not us. Well they wouldnt have renters for the landlords if that's how think. Incessant phone calls when we were moving out - we wanted to buy the house we rented, got told we had first refusal if it went up for sale. Finally after asking 5 times over 3 years if we could buy it, we let the landlord know we were moving and magically it went up for sale. Jordan fishwick advertised it so overpriced they only got 1 viewing in a year and ended up putting it back up for rent - for 200 more than welcome wanted it for! With no improvement, lack of insulation, falling apart brick work, mouldy shed, rats next door, no parking, no garden, bathroom floor leaking for £925 a month!!! Outrageous. House in question was 6 Chadkirk Cottages. Would not recommend renting with original landlords Sefton Bleasefale and would barter down price to the 700 we were paying (it's a 1 bedroom house!)

Shambolic. Sent confirmation email of viewings to the wrong email address (which was copied wrong by them from Rightmove). Then when we showed up, both houses had Sold signs outside with nobody there to meet us for the viewing. The next day had the audacity to call and complain for not showing up to the viewings!
