I enquired about a property and told the agent I was only available on Saturdays to view. She set up a time for this Saturday. Shortly after I received a call from a male agent telling me an offer had been made and if I wanted to be a contender i had to see it before the weekend as the seller was about to accept the offer that day. I declined as i work in london. Then on Saturday II received a call from the original agent to confirm the viewing, as they had "convinced the seller to not accept the offer and look at others" . The male agent was very clear - if you dont come before Saturday its too late! This feels incredibly unprofessional -not only for the individual who made an offer, but the client as well as they lost a genuine buyer. in retrospect i don't believe an acceptance was imminent - the agent just wanted to hussle. I will not be using your services to find my new home, you have lost my trust.
