Five years of poor repairs and lack of adequate communication

I have been a tenant managed by Prospect for five years. Last month a plumber sent by Prospect replaced my bathroom taps. The work caused a blockage in the drain and a leak through the kitchen ceiling, and the overflow pipe now runs with water regularly. There has been a hole in my kitchen ceiling for three weeks, and I keep getting excuses instead of dates for the repair. I am told they accepted a quote from a company to the repair but the company actually havent been to property to investigate the issue. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the request was ignored. Contractors came to quote for another repair and I heard nothing for months. When I asked for an update, I was told it wasn't urgent and the repair hadn't been authorised. Nobody had told me. I have also been told repeatedly that my instructions are "on file", and they are not acted on. They only they know how to reach out when its time for a rent increase or its time to book a gas certificate inspection.

I would like to extend my thanks to Daniel, Suwit, Ryan, Samuel, Maisie - and all the team at Kings Enfield Highway for all their work selling my parent's house. From the initial consultation with Daniel, the house was put on sale immediately, a viewing day arranged - and a buyer was found in about 1-2 weeks after the viewing day! There was some hold-up on the buyer's side, due to them being in a chain, but Kings kept me informed throughout this, so I never once felt in the dark at any time during the sale process. Fantastic experience

Fantastic experience. I have just finished my PhD, and for my new job, I needed a fast relocation from the North. This is, of course, stressful, but thanks to Gracie's efforts, I had some viewings and found a brilliant flat in a very short time. Also, one thing that really stood out to me about them is that they are very transparent and genuinely want to find a good place for you with no strings attached - something that I am not used to after being in the 'student enviroment' for so long!
