Buying and selling has been such a stressful process in the past, but the experience this year with Stirling Ackroyd has been a breeze. I was contacted by Heidi in head office, Heidi offered me a valuation and shared with me factual statics. I was so grateful for Heidi’s advice. Before Heidi called I had not planned to sell my property. I have since achieved a great value for the sale of my flat and bought the perfect house. Heidi put me in contact with a mortgage advisor and Solictor. The team in Sunbury were efficient and confident. I was assigned Sophie to maintain the conveyancing all the way through to completion. Stirling Ackroyd are a very professional and friendly letting agent and property management company. In particular, Clive Martin is very responsive and quick to resolve any issues that may occur. He is a reliable communicator between us as tenants and our landlord. Also their network of trusted installers/suppliers to carry out necessary work is highly commended. It makes all the difference to an enjoyable tenancy to know that Clive / Stirling Ackroyd manage the property in such a professional and efficient manner.

Excellent! I recently spoke to Georgia from your Lettings department regarding my two bed property, that I am looking to put on let out. It is my first time letting out my property and I did not know what to do or expect. However, Georgia from the Lettings team was extremely knowledgeable about the what the whole process entails and was extremely patient with me as I had a lot of questions. When I decide to let my property out I would definitely go back to Stirling and ask for Georgia as she was absolutely fantastic, her professionalism, knowledge and politeness is a credit to this company. This by far has been the best experience with any estate agent I have dealt with. My property had been on the market for 7 months, and previous agents were unable to get it sold. I was recommended Stirling Ackroyd by a work colleague. I got in touch and dealt with Ashley at head office. What a pleasure! She was polite, professional and knew her job as well as the market, inside out! Her advice and knowledge was a great benefit and I can not thank her enough! Her communication was fantastic and I would definitely recommend her and the team at Stirling Ackroyd! I would give her 10 stars if I could!

Firstly where to begin... Marty at head office has been fantastic following my recent valuation enquiry for my property. From the initial call where he explained what was going to happen and actually took the time to understand what my onward plans were, he then suggested registering me as a potential buyer to help with property matches. I hadn't spoken to a financial advisor or solicitor and he was again helpful in explaining the additional services that Stirling Ackroyd offer. worst agents ever stay away

I shall never rent through Stirling Ackroyd again, this company only thinks about two things protecting themselves and the landlord. it is disgusting the way they treat you; they do not care about you at all. fence down nothing done for nearly three months, had items damage in the garden as we lived next to an alleyway. bathroom shower was leaking, downstairs ceiling was going mouldy, in fact it was that bad we had to call council out in the end. we left 7 months later leaking shower and mould was the same and they even let the new people move in with lots of promises. do not rent off Stirling Ackroyd, you will be very sorry you did. yes, they should win a prise for worst estate agent out there. They threaten you if I stopped paying the £2800 a month rent, this is their behaviour.

ONLY helpful BEFORE you sign

The agents were ONLY unbelievably helpful BEFORE YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT. After that they just disappeard. One area manager even tried to violate one clause in the contract, trying to make a view for potential buyers 3 months prior to the end. We reported that we need small fixes for the lights and NOBODY CAME. Horrible service. Complete fraud.

Stirling Ackroyd - DAY TIME ROBBERS

Stirling Ackroyd is a terrible estate and letting company. To be exactly accurate, Clive Martin is the worst when it comes to them lot. The check in and check out inventory matches with of course the additional normal wear and tear but he will force you to pay for it. What he is doing is called Day Time Robbery.Metro Central Heights Vantage Building is known for having black moulds due to the windows' inability to block moisture as the building is old but he will say that the moulds needs to be cleaned despite the moulds being already absorbed into the laminate. He will charge you for that. Again, Day Time Robbery. There are too many to mention when it comes to how bad Stirling Ackroyd is. I mean Stirling Ackroyd may be a good company but the people working for it are just too terrible especially Clive Martin. I don't understand why he is still there working for Stirling Ackroyd but if the workers are like that, the company must be bad too for retaining these kind of people, right?My advice to all is this: Avoid Stirling Ackroyd. There are better Lettings and Estates companies out there. If you see Clive Martin in the paperwork, information etc, better cross the road and go for the competition. Stirling Ackroyd is just bad.
