We were renting a property from chancellors that we then purchased. Over a month post purchase they still haven’t paid us back our deposit - they don’t answer us when we chase and still can’t give us a timeline even though the payment was agreed over a month ago.

I withdrew from my application due to a lack of transparency around the rental figure. After an initial amount was discussed, the tone of communication changed and the price after agreement decided increased all of a sudden later in the process, before any tenancy had started or been formally agreed. Not what I agreed it wasn't the price change that was frustrating it was the experience and lack of transparency.

Well, What can I say about Rakesh Jethwa. He has been an absolute star and amazing in his service, since giving an evaluation on my property right through to getting offers. He is so personable, makes you feel like family. He has helped in troubled tenants and advised and assisted in every eventuality. I would give him 6 Stars if I could. No doubt he will always assist any new vendors who want to put their property for sale. I would not have been were I am without his help. He will be appreciated always and I thank him for his service and this includes Courtney Kennedy in the after sales office, who has been a tremendous help too. I thank the entire Chancellors office for their help and support. With kindest and respected regards.

As a tenant, I’ve really noticed the difference since Libby became the property manager in October. She keeps me updated, responds quickly, and makes sure any issues are resolved without unnecessary delays. Her professionalism and consistency make the whole renting experience far less stressful.

Chancellors have been average in the dealings we've had, but the one person that has been exceptional, is Shana Tolsma, who is the senior property manager, who has looked after any issues with our property whilst we have been letting. She has always been very attentive and prompt in responding to issues and always with a positive attitude.
