GoogleWould not recommend this agency. We had a confirmed viewing with an official email stating the date and time. After arriving, Karen Mcdougall did not show up. When we called the office, no one seemed to know what was going on, we were told she wasn’t there and that there was no record of the appointment. A complete lack of organisation and respect for people’s time.

GoogleWe would recommend Deborah to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. She is hands down the best in the business in our opinion and if we ever need to buy again she will be our first choice in estate agents. The service we received from Deborah was exceptional! We could not have asked for a better agent to guide us through the process. Her experience and patience served us well and we couldn't recommend her enough!

GoogleExtremely poor experience. Newmans kept chasing after myself and my mother to advertise our house with them - once we went with them, they lowered the house price on the market (to get easy sales) without telling us - when we got in touch to ask why they did this without our consent, they said its their way or the highway! They also made us pay for a 1 day auction promising they had various people interesting in making offers - we paid for it and they hadn't organised anyone to turn up! Also, the manager of this brand is constantly changing which makes continuity difficult! Not a good experience - not sure who Jenny persons is(Mentioned in other reviews), but she certainly doesn't reflect the standard way of dealing in Newmans - have found most of the sales guys here to be full of hot air, riding on a reputation which they no longer live up to - far from it!

GoogleI wish there was a zero star option to select. My experience with this agent has been terrible. Communication has been appalling- they don't return messages or calls. There is no confirmation of offers made in writing and you are left wondering what the outcome of any offer made is. If a house was being advertised by this agent I would be very reluctant to view it.

GoogleDo not buy any property through Newman's as they have no ethics. I was due to buy a property in January through them and was suppose to sign the contract. They came back and said that they received a better price and the deal is off. I was forced to pay higher price to secure the property. Sold subject to contract means nothing to them. They are a bunch of immoral people sitting at the leamington office.
Hi Rosy, Unfortunately it is not the decision of the estate agent as to which offer the owner of a property decides to accept. The estate agent is acting on bahlf of the owner of the property, as it is them who pays the estate agent's fee, so whatever the owner decides to do we as their agent must comply. Sold subject to contract means exactly that, it is sold subject to a contract being completed, if that contract is not completed then the property has not been sold. Unfortunately this is the way that property sales work in England, and to claim the agent is immoral and have no ethics for following the clients instructions is not fair of you. P.S. You left this review on the Rugby office reviews page, but we think you may have intended to leave it on the Leamington Spa office reviews page.

GoogleI'm very happy with the service i've received over the last few months from the newmans team, in particular Catherine, and Matt. Since putting my house onto the market, they have been so great for helping me to figure out how to do the legal paperworks and also in helping me find my new home!! I couldn't recommend the team enough!

GoogleWe have rented and bought our property through Newman and have found both to be excellent. When it came to purchasing our property both Brendan and Catherine went above and beyond to support our unique circumstances and get the purchase completed quickly. The team are always happy to help even out of hours and with unusual requests.

GoogleNewman lettings absolutely appalling enquired about a lettings property told I would get a callback. Once they knew when they were able to look at viewing dates for the property didn’t hear anything. Phoned up, got told that they’ve got up to 12 people viewing a property so anyway, most likely no point viewing that all because they didn’t actually chase up absolutely appalling

GoogleI put an offer in for a property. Dealt with Matt. Not heard back if offer accepted by vendors and it’s been over 1 month. Agents should ditch time wasting vendors as ultimately it wasted everyone’s time playing the waiting game and puts the agent in a bad light too.

GoogleAfter chasing for a price for over a week for a property for sale. Why put a board up if you don't know the selling price. Leaving a message to get a call back also. No callback. Then finding out property has sold as soon it went live. Really ??? I spoke to office 4 times last week with no info. Mind you what should I expect. This is my second time trying to deal with this company. Totally disappointed.

GoogleSpoke to Brendan on the Monday. He visited my mums home, we had 2 other agents to give 2nd (and 3rd) opinions....Brendan agreed a sale by the Friday and got £15,000 more than both other agents said!! Now my mum is extremely happy.

GoogleVery poor customer service. Did not clean the flats before the new tenants occupied it. A very rude company. Letting flats out when they’re not fit for human habitation - With mould and no CO2 alarm and functioning Smoke detectors.

GoogleWorst experience of my life dealing with this agent from the Rugby office. Put offers in on a property and never heard the outcome. Unprofessional approach throughout and no calls returned. Good luck if you’re trying to sell with them as I would never view a property on the market with them on principle.

GoogleI had the unfortunate experience in having to deal with them involving a query and I found them (Beth) to be the most unhelpful company, they were rude and stubborn and just refused to help to the point where I had to scream down the phone for anything to be done. I would never use them off the back of this experience. Would give no stars if possible. Oh Sean, what have you done, unless this is the best practice for you company. Poor, so very poor.

GoogleI highly recommend Newman’s Estate Agents. We received excellent service from our initial market appraisal through to completion. We were happy with the valuation given and we achieved the asking price. The office were outstanding with regard to organising and arranging viewings, along with giving feedback afterwards. They also communicated well through to the sale completion. I am very happy that we chose Newman’s Rugby and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

GoogleWhen your canvassers damage my property and don't have the common courtesy of informing me, why would anyone trust your company to respect their property. Out of the 50 or so companies that come up on Google when you search property valuations, you should choose one of the alternatives.
