Why I chose Howkins and Harrison

Both Javed and Evie guided me on how I needed to prepare the property in order to secure a fair rent and a good tenant. During the cleaning and refurbishment stage, Javed and Evie showed prospective tenants the property and advised them on what the finished property would be like.The whole process of selecting Howkins and Harrison was painless with the team being proactive from the beginning and continued to communicate and update me throughout the marketing process. At no point did I have to chase anyone.The property is now rented out with no issues so far!

Hello everybody, the worst people I dealt with..., mainly Nigel Underwood Commercial Manager, not respectful person..., started by our first appointment for a viewing..., he was late ... and I had to call and text him several times to inform him that I was waiting for him out of the shop ... he turned up very late ... and regret not stopped dealing with him on that time ...because he already showed his non seriousness ... he wasted four month of my time ... and now the shop is not let 7 month after ... it seems the landlord has removed his shop from this non serious people ...!

I started renting a property 4 years…

I started renting a property 4 years ago with Howkins and Harrison, since being in the property we have completely re done the garden re decorated everywhere and re carpeted, recently we have had to move out the property due to a change in circumstance, we deep cleaned the house and carpets due to us being allowed to keep dogs. New tenants have been in the property for a week and complained about dog hair to which images have been sent with minimal dog hairs showing I am now being told out of an £800 deposit I was originally getting back only £195 and there will be more reductions due to the new tenants wanting the carpets re done! Absolutely appalled at this treatment we have improved the property and left it in a fit and clean condition and now being told a week after someone else had had the keys and moved in that I am still going to be charged for there mess! NOT HAPPY!!

Appalling - no ethics or code of conduct. My mother was listing her property with them for weeks when they finally secured her an offer after multiple useless viewings. A few days before solicitors were to be appointed they informed her after she had been chasing them for days for update and when things would go ahead that they had shown her buyer a different property and he was buying that instead. If you want an agent that breaches the code of conduct set by The Property Ombudsman and Trading Standards and leaves you up the creek then by all means choose them. No ethics, no conscience and not even an apology to show for what they have done... Avoid like the plague.

Six stars at least! Mike at Howkins helped me so much with the sale/purchase in Rugby in 2018/9 - always helpful, upbeat but realistic all the time too, with a dash of philosophy thrown in. He helped with all the problems that came up, giving good advice, communicating and reassuring all the way. All the other people at Howkins were very good too - Chris, Hannah to name but two. I'd always had the impression that they were a good bunch, and my house moving experience has certainly confirmed that view. Thanks guys
