I was in a situation where I needed to move quickly into a property and this was my first rental experience. Speaking to the professional team at Bricknells we quickly identified some suitable properties and the team prepared me for the process of renting and what I would need to provide to speed the process up. From start to finish I was kept in the loop about progress and the property they managed was extremely clean, well maintained and any issues throughout my tenancy were rectified immediately (boiler packed in one winter and a new one was installed the following day when we realised it could not be repaired). The team at Bricknells are brilliant and made sure I was happy throughout my tenancy. Only wish they did sales as well, as my experience of other agents has not been as positive!

I cannot recommend Bricknells highly enough, we have two properties with them. Some months ago one of our tenants stopped paying and it took us months to go through the grist and mill of getting her evicted. Bricknells supported us at every step of the way. Following the eviction and the unbelievable state the tenant left the property Chris the Operations Manager was instrumental in discussions with the loss assessors and for helping us again and again to get a good settlement. They do an excellent job when things are going smoothly and increase their service as neccessary when there are bumps in the road. If you want an honest, straightforward company to manage your lettings then you don't need to look any further than Bricknells. 5***** without hesitation. Nick Sievewright

As a tenant, my wall was leaking for over six months and water consistently leaked in my flat. The landlord and Bricknells consistently passed blame between them and refused to do anything to fix the obvious hazard. Several roof tiles fell of the ceiling in the bathroom and they left the heating broken for multiple weeks without fixing. The only time I was contacted directly was during the start of first lockdown to make sure I was aware that I must pay my rent on time. To their credit, I got my deposit back, but their conduct as been disgraceful and I am glad to have left.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

I have been a tenant with bricknalls for almost three years , and can honestly say that the quality of service has been second to non, all staff are competent and professional at all times but more than that they have not forgotten the human element that so many companies seem to forget these days, they are compassionate in difficult circumstances and always do their very best to full fill the needs of all parties. they never forget the small details such as letting you know who is dealing with your account so that you are never passed around and always know who you need to speak too. Management are no different and maintain a kind and competent service which again is so very rare these days, I highly recommend bricknalls to anyone who is considering letting a home or requiring a company to manage their property
