I moved into a property at the beginning of May and from the time of calling, to viewing, then moving in, the service I received from Nicola and Jayne has been brilliant. There were a couple of hiccups with the property when moving in. I contacted Nicola and she was amazing, Nicola had all relevant areas notified and people sent out to the property with urgency and it was honestly such a great help. I know my way around the property industry and I'm generally quite critical of it. Sloppy service and broken promises seem to dominate. However, I entrusted the rental of my property in Brentwood to Jayne at Belvoir Basildon and the experience was excellent - in fact the opposite of what you see and read from other lettings agents. Jayne was courteous, helpful, informative and spot on with compliance requirements (boring but necessary to prevent landlords being hit with big fines). Very, very highly recommended.

Had a lovely viewing with Sophie, got accepted for the property where the sales team were lovely. Until, the next day I called asking some questions regarding the deposit; rent payments dates etc, so that I could get everything in hand. Even was going to be paying a month rent on an empty property as we had a 2 month notice and they said we had to move in 16th September! I got met with a very unpleasant member of staff. Blunt, abrupt and quite rude in her attitude. She made it very hard to have a conversation and felt very objective to the things I was asking, even when I was being cooperative with the needs for the property. Called back asking to speak to a manager, got refused and then got told ‘you arent tenants we want anyway’. If that’s how you conduct business, we don’t want to give you it anyway👍🏻 Update: had an email from the MD, I asked her to call me to discuss/resolve, to which I didn’t receive anything back :)

Yesterday, I relocated to the South End. Although I have visited numerous residences, Belvoir assisted me expeditiously and without difficulty with the necessary documentation. Yesterday marked the move-in of Belvoir team members Keeley Taylor and Jayne Wooding, who completed all paperwork in forty-eight hours. Even though she had other commitments at the time we requested to pick up the key, Jayne was incredibly accommodating, kind, and patient in her responses to all inquiries. The Belvoir team is, without a doubt, the finest in the South End region.

A bit of a weird review as we are no longer with Belvoir, but honestly cannot get over how wonderful Nicola has been in the lead up to us leaving our old place. Our landlord recently decided to sell through a third party estate agent taking us all by surprise. But Nicola went above and beyond for us. Was so helpful negotiating a moving date and looking after us when trying to find a new property. Looked after us as much as she could and nothing was too much trouble. My boyfriend rented a house with this estate agent last year/this year and it was the worst decision we ever made. We received no support with anything throughout the tenancy and they are still making it difficult to return the deposit. I extremely do not recommend this agency. During a rental we seek support, not a company that turns a blind eye to what is happening. Extremely bad. Of all the rental companies we have ever had, this is the worst of all.
