Sellers should be extremely cautious, my experience felt pressurising and deeply unprofessional My experience with Bairstow Eves Romford was extremely distressing. I felt pushed, rushed, and pressured to sell my property at a price far below its true value. When I didn’t agree to the reduction, events took a very concerning turn. Shortly after refusing to lower the price, the council contacted me due to a report claiming I was running an unlicensed HMO. This allegation was completely false, and the council confirmed that my tenants are a single household with a valid selective licence. During the visit, the council worker told me who had made the report. I will not repeat the name publicly, but the timing made the whole situation feel highly suspicious and left me feeling that certain individuals were prepared to use tactics that, in my opinion, felt deceptive and designed to pressure me into selling. While I cannot state the intentions of others, the sequence of events made me believe that some methods used in my case were not in good faith and did not feel ethical or professional. Based on this experience, I strongly advise sellers to proceed with extreme caution. Document everything, question any pressure to reduce your price, and be aware that, in my experience, the approach used felt manipulative and far from transparent.

THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.DO NOT USE THEM. absolutely awful agents AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! do not trust them. they lie. they cant deal with simple issues. no one replies to my emails. please from someone higher up contact me as i do not know what to do anymore. everyone is always 'on leave' or 'out the office' so i cant even call them. DO NOT USE THEM. i have been waiting for 3 months for my curtains to be fixed and i am not any further along. Liam was truly exceptional. I met him at a home buying seminar that was focused on the area. I was impressed with his level of knowledge and the amount of data that they had about the market. It was a no-brainer for me to work with them since I was set on buying and I’m so thankful I did. Lima was ALWAYS available for home tours. Their responsiveness was incredible. If they didn’t pick up, they always call back no longer than 5 minutes later. Seriously.

We've had a problem with the tenant and had to go through eviction, removal of the tenant's property, repainting, deep cleaning and re-carpeting of the flat. Everything was handled by Jason and new tenant found even before all the jobs have been completed. I recommend full management and insurance services. The whole experience exceeded my expectations. Clairessa is really good with admin support and in the past 3 years I have also been in contact with Jessica and Freddie. A very good team with a strong leadership. In overall, excellent service.

She did sound very unprofessional and did not want to provide us with any measurements and not even any information urging us to make a payment for holding deposit and refusing (!) by law the agency has to provide us measurements which other agents confirmed. However Freddie was kind enough to get back to us and let us know that a King size bed would not fit at all given that there weee built in wardrobes. He was also not very certain weather a double bed would fit in however a small double would - the Landlord and Agent were so nice and although this property did not really meet our requirements we really felt bad turning this property down and hoped to manage/move in but the attitude received from one staff member actually made an impact and we chose not to go ahead. - she seemed rather target hungry trying to get this property off the market which clearly displays a lack of customer service representing bairstow eves. I’m a manager myself and would not employ such person and would request someone to listen back to the call so you can hear her tone of voice. We are paying customers and not council tenants and this is absolutely rude.

AVOID AVOID AVOID I recently had the displeasure of dealing with Bairstow Eves Letting Agents, and it was an experience that left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated. From start to finish, their incompetence and lack of professionalism were evident, with countless issues that made the entire rental process extremely cumbersome. The most glaring flaw was Jason, Freddie and Jessica's abysmal communication skills. They were consistently unresponsive, failing to return calls, emails, and messages promptly. It often felt like we were chasing them for necessary information, updates, or even simple questions. This lack of communication created unnecessary stress and wasted valuable time. Unreasonable Charges: The letting agency imposed exorbitant fees and charges for their services, without any tangible value in return, leaving us feeling exploited and taken advantage of. The lack of transparency in their fee structure only added insult to injury. Overall, my experience with Bairstow Eves Letting Agents was nothing short of a nightmare. From their poor communication, and unreasonable charges, they consistently underperformed and failed to meet even the most basic standards expected from a letting agent. I strongly recommend steering clear of Bairstow Eves Letting Agents to avoid unnecessary stress, wasted time, and unfulfilled expectations. There are undoubtedly better options available in the market that prioritize professionalism, efficiency, and tenant satisfaction.
