GoogleAvoid! Avoid! Avoid!
Came to a new city to start uni and choose this estate agent as they advertised nice properties that was so cheap for the area of Canterbury so as September was fast approaching, I thought one property was a steal. Moved in and everything was good to start with, then little by little problems started such as a broken radiator in my room during the winter, in which despite numerous reports to be fixed, on this ridiculous maintenance app, it finally got fixed about 6 months later, this caused severe mold in my room and my room to be shivering cold, which caused me to develope a severe chest and lung infection where I had to hospitalised.
There was so many times where it was like 2am, 3am and the fire alarm would go off for hours, despite no fire at all or smoke and the sound was ear piercingly loud, so loud you could hear it down the street!!. I would go out of the flat for my safety despite no fire, in case of a gas leak that set it off, and I would be out in the cold at 2am, 3am waiting for a person to come out after calling, and turn it off as the estate agents maintanace had the power to fix it but no one came out once to check it out despite it going off about 5 times that year. Every time that happened, i had to miss uni the next day as i was so worried it'll go off again and this time it would be a real fire, so i couldnt and wouldnt sleep so i was exhausted the next day.
More things one by one started going wrong very quickly like a few major leaks, water tasting disgusting, faulty wire works and the front door not shutting properly which was so nerve racking as the flat was right next to a pub so drunks could and did open the front door a few times but despite so many reports nothing got fixed until like weeks or months later, some things like the oven door melting and the rubber around it melting was never fixed until i left the property. I actually was taking something out the oven and I burnt my arm on the melted rubber hanging off. This caused a 1st almost 2nd degree burn on my arm in which is now permanently scarred, mentally and physically.
Felt like just cause I was a student, I didn't matter to them, as long as rent was paid, they couldn't care less. I'm now physically and mentally scarred from going with these agents.

However, we must clarify that the account provided is not reflective of the service or responsibilities of RedDoor Homes, and attributing the issues described to us is inaccurate and misleading.
Our role in this tenancy was strictly that of a rent collection agent for the landlord. This means our sole responsibility was to collect rent and transfer it to the landlord. We do not manage the property, arrange or oversee maintenance, coordinate repairs, or handle the servicing and testing of fire alarms. All property management responsibilities, including heating repairs, mould prevention, fire alarm faults, plumbing and electrical issues, and safety checks, are managed entirely by the landlord or their appointed contractors.
While we understand the impact these issues had on your time at the property, we have no authority to instruct or carry out repairs, nor do we have control over the timescales in which they are completed.
We take our reputation seriously and wish to reassure prospective tenants that the matters raised in this review fall outside the services we provide. We remain committed to delivering a professional rent collection service and will always ensure that any concerns we receive are passed to the landlord promptly.

GoogleTerrible letting agents. Just became managers of property that changed 4 times letting agents everytime the landlords didn't want to do repairs on the property and started straight away defending their interests and not being understanding or wanting to help the tenants with anything! Falsely accused of leaving property at end of tenancy for different issues that were already in reports from previous letting agents. Absolutely terrible towards the tenants and rude as well with communication! Avoid by all costs!
I have no idea who Ana Siedlecka is and I have never been accused of antisocial behaviour, proving one more time incompetence of knowing your tenants, left alone caring about them! At least please check your records before posting the names of other people!

They have always been reachable by phone, email... and nothing is too much trouble. Due to a change in circumstance I had to enquire about ending my tenancy a few months early, they told me my options spoke to the landlord and sorted it for me so quickly. Special mention to Caroline on this, she's a credit to the business! On the topic of names, i'd just like to thank Anna & Sarah too; who similarly to Caroline have been incredibly responsive and friendly throughout my dealings with them.
