Dealt with Aniya at the Talbot green branch she took on the roll as a managing the first stage of our home for sale she was amazing I would’ve hired her myself if I had a similar company absolutely devastated that she left there …. I spoke to the new manager that totally made me not want to put my house For Sale with you. She was Direct very rude and told me there’s big changes there since she got there the other person ANIYA was very on point accurate she cared so much for her company and she is a great asset to your business. I’ve not been told she’s been moved to a different branch so unfortunately my house is not on the market.

Peter Alan - A poor choice.

Completely incompetent staff working for this company. Appalling communication. Staff don't answer calls, they do not respond to emails and take hundreds of pounds in fees but in return, offer a terrible service. I have made a complaint with the company but they have not even acknowledged the complaint, that is how poor their service is. Numerous calls and emails sent to various teams in the company with no response. Website states they are experts at what they do with 60 years of experience. Peter Alan are not to be trusted, they cannot effectively sell or let your property as they do not care about their customers. Customers are just revenue to them.

If you enjoy being lied to, having your time aggressively wasted, and being hunted down like a fugitive by mortgage brokers, I highly recommend the Peter Alan experience.I popped in for a simple brochure for a property advertised in "Radyr." What followed was a hostage-length conversation with an agent describing a location in the "back and beyond." After some intense decoding, the truth came out: it wasn't in Radyr. It was structurally dumped at the back of Llandaff North.She enthusiastically pitched it as a "wonderful, scenic location." I turned up and found it dead in the middle of a council estate, looking like it had been violently stuffed into the back of an industrial estate. No view. No charm. Absolute catfishing. How can you trust an estate agent who tells you a concrete jungle is the Swiss Alps?As a single parent, my criteria weren't exactly a riddle: a safe, nice area around Radyr (like Danescourt, Radyr Gardens, Creigiau, or Llantrisant Road) with a garden, driveway, and good square footage. I explicitly stated absolutely no bad areas or council estates. Instead, I got a magical mystery tour of an industrial estate.But the real comedy sketch was their aggressive data harvesting. I looked her dead in the eye and said: "Do not put me on any mailing lists." She practically gave me a pinky-promise. Blatant lie.Cue the 48-hour harassment campaign:Day 1: A man calls trying to sell me everything short of a timeshare. I demand my details be removed. He promises he'll do it. (Spoiler: He did not).Day 2: A woman calls to aggressively pitch me a mortgage. I went in for a single piece of paper, not a 30-year financial commitment!Tonight: My inbox explodes with mortgage advice and "exciting company options."To top off the madness, their spam emails don't even feature a standard unsubscribe button. I had to solve a digital escape room just to escape: hunt down a preferences page, type my email to get a link, click the link, and type my email again just to log in. Once inside, I discovered they had secretly subscribed me to over eight different mailing lists.I am completely flabbergasted. I didn't ask for a new lifestyle, an industrial hike, or eight new automated best friends. I just wanted a brochure. Absolutely ridiculous.

Please avoid this company if you are a landlord. They let our property out to a tenant who destroyed our home. The tenant had moved not only a new partner in without us being informed but also a large dog which has left a considerable amount of faeces everywhere. The damage she caused within 6 months has cost thousands of pounds to rectify. Meanwhile the tenant failed to pay rent for the majority of this period therefore leaving us in considerable financial difficulty. Despite taking their % every month, Peter Alan failed to carry out any checks of the property during this time and later stated they only did this 'once a year.' We were told upon instructing them to manage the property that checks would be done quarterly. They have since refused to chase our missing rent money after the tenant moved out stating it was 'no longer their problem.' They took no forwarding address for her, therefore we cannot look to pursue this ourselves. On the day she moved out, Peter Alan took new prospective tenants into the property that same evening. We hadnt seen the property at this point, neither were we told about the state of it including a rat infestation due to rotten food waste. The property was in no way habitable yet Peter Alan were willing to continue showing viewers around without asking us first. The staff are always rude, unhelpful and extremely unprofessional. They have completely refused to accept responsibility for the lack of management of the property but happily took our money every month. Needless to say we are pursuing this company civilly for failing to manage the property and for not carrying out a service they were paid for.

Please avoid if you are buying or selling with PA. The branch I dealt with is in Llanishen , Cardiff, their branch manager doesn't know how to handle a simple complaint, other than simply saying referring to contract when we asked if there is any charge if the property was not sold. They send a bill after for the EPC it was carried out. The saleswomen Tracey did not bother to explain this charge when we repeatedly asked are there any charges? Its a common sense thing to explain to sellers to provide as much information as they can.

Worst estate agents ever pity I couldn't give it a minus 5

Absolutely disgusted with these people I rented a flat out with them which was full of mould and damp and made my asthma worse which hospitalised me on 3 different occasions I was told I could give a months notice to leave so when I did that they accepted it via email and then lied to say I couldn't leave early and now they got the cheek to try and charge me extra rent when I had already left and they had told me prior to the months notice that all I had to do was either email or in writing my months notice so I emailed them and they took ages answering back roughly 2 weeks to reply to an email basically saying I can't leave and I would be liable to pay rent right up until the end of the contract which is disgusting nothing but lies from these people and I have it all saved and now TDS wants to look into it because I tried requesting my bond back and they are trying to claim for rent absolutely fuming with these none of these people deserve a job because they obviously can't do it properly worst estate agents ever and I would never in a million years recommend these to anyone I want my bond money you thieves it's my money not yours and you can claim for rent all you want but you accepted my months notice and then changed it so all this is your fault and I will keep on fighting this you don't deserve my money PETER ALAN should be shut down immediately

Don’t deal with this person

The young guy Finlay that showed us around a house we were interested in is fantastic, very very nice guy. However!! Jade the manager of Peter Alan in talbot greeen could do with learning some manners and is an obstructive argumentative person who I or my partner will never deal with again! We had an appointment booked for 12 to see a financial advisor and appointments before hand to see a house! The manager Jade called me at 10:05 to cancel our appointment at 12. I explained I wasn’t happy and that we had travelled from Rumney for this meeting but it’s no worries I will go elsewhere to seek financial advice. The manager Jade then called me a liar and stated back to me that I’m from tonyrefail and hadn’t travelled from Cardiff whatsoever, I tried to explain that my partner is from Cardiff and that I had travelled with her from there! Jade continued to overtalk me and point out that I hadn’t travelled from Cardiff for the 12 meeting as I was due for a viewing at 11 in gilfach goch so that I was lying to the fact saying I had travelled from Cardiff for the 12 meeting pointing out I would have had to anyway to view the property! A very aggressive argumentative individual who has now lost Peter Alan a customer or more as I will let everyone I know what kind of person they have there managing that particular outlet/shop! Totally unacceptable and unprofessional behaviour by a woman in her 40’s that should have a little more decorum about her and not call customers that have travelled for 45 minutes for a meeting a liar! Despicable individual!!!

Paid the holding deposit and the estate agent Liam kept on blaming the referencing company for taking long but when I called them they said everything is fine and we went through we need to contact the estate agent which we did. He took forever to reply and no matter how many times I rant he never answered. Then replies 3 minutes before they close and tells me the referencing failed without giving me any explanation and now is failing to give me my holding deposit back and once again lying.

Do not rent from Peter Alan.I currently rent a one-bedroom apartment in Llanishen. It is a nice property in the outskirts of the city for a reasonable price of £600pcm, so I thought it would be a good property for my first rental. I did not notice some obvious red flags that the employees of Peter Alan were not exactly good at their jobs, so for the last two years I have had to deal with perhaps one of the worst, most inept lettings agencies out there. Companies like Peter Alan are why this industry has such an abysmal reputation.The entire company is filled with incompetence and unprofessionalism. The previous Lettings Manager at Llanishen was doing the viewing for the apartment before I rented it, where she was 15 minutes because she (in her own words) had to drink her coffee. She also failed to inform the previous tenant that a viewing would be happening at that time, who understandably refused to let us in after a brief rant about the company. We agreed to meet at the property an hour later after the previous tenant left for work, and the manager ended up being late again.When I rented the apartment, it ended up having several discrepancies in the inventory. None of these issues were ever resolved. When I went to extend my tenancy for six more months, it took the agency six emails, some unsuccessful phone calls and a formal complaint over the course of a month to do so, and when they did they tried to deceive me into extending the tenancy for twelve months rather than the requested six.Following a pretty terrible interaction with Peter Alan's maintenance department where I was falsely accused of causing a maintenance issue by Dale, the Portfolio Manager, I decided I had enough and I informed Peter Alan of my intention to not renew my tenancy three months before it was due to end. Since then, I have been harassed by Aneurin, the new Lettings Manager at Llanishen branch who has since replaced the coffee drinker, who has by far been the worst employee I have had to deal with. He has shown absolutely no regards for the company's tenants with his constant harassment; if there was any chance I would ever use Peter Alan's services again or recommend them to anyone, they are now gone.

Awful experience

The worst estate agent I have ever dealt with. As a buyer and a professional in the residential property field, I was appalled at the awful service given by Peter Alan. I had to resend essential information multiple times, chase up their ‘sales progressor’ to reply to my emails and when I spoke to the sales progressor on the phone, the rude and passive aggressive tone she used was beyond unprofessional. The team didn’t even have the decency to respond to my emails at a critical points in the transaction and on the day of completion, they didn’t even bother to tell me we had completed! If I could give them zero stars I would and if I ever sell my house, I will never use Peter Alan as the sales agent.

It's a pity that you can't give 0 stars, this agency deserves it. con artists and liars, they deliberately delayed the valuation process when buying a flat just so that we would use their own mortgage advisor. They lied to me many times, giving various reasons for the delays. The last time we informed them that we knew about the allegations of the Connells Group company, to which Peter Alan belongs (forcing clients to use their own services, special delays in the loan process) they assured that they would do everything in their power to fix the whole situation. That was 2 weeks ago! The flat for which we are still waiting with the valuation was removed from the network! Of course, no one informed us about it! How can you call yourselves a real estate agency?! They are frauds! I know that the market is flooded with properties from them, but it is really not worth using them. 3 months lost, stress, nerves are not worth it. 0 stars. I do not recommend.

Early days but impressed so far!

From the initial meeting with Jack Chatburn, I have found the company in Neath easy to deal with. They have kept me informed every step of the way and have been proactive in communicating with me as the vendor.The individuals I have dealt with have been efficient and quick in their responses to any queries. I would like to thank the ladies that hosted viewings and particularly thank Erin Thomas who dealt with me and the prospective purchaser through a series of phone calls and emails - not an easy task as I was abroad! Jessica Williams was proactive also in sealing the deal. Early stages in the sale yet, but I feel I can trust the team. Many thanks to all involved.

I moved into a property with promise…

I moved into a property with promise that the rear garden would be fixed up to standard. Upon moving in, it was still overgrown. I reported a toilet that would not flush, which took them a week to send someone out to fix (no compensation). Black mould and damp, front door not fit for purpose, heating dial not working during freezing winter. Overall, an absolute nightmare. Would give zero if possible.

Poor communication

One star is extremely generous, Upon on viewing the property we were promised that renovation works would be carried out on the rear garden, we have emailed for an update of when works are expected to commence numerous time but been ignored every time. We are also having issues with damp/mould and a woodlice infestation but they don’t seem to care about sorting that. I have filed a complaint to which I have been told to wait upto 15 working days for a response so basically at least 3 more weeks of living in a damp mouldy infested house.

New manager at Talbot green branch absolutely unreal how rude is she? Very Direct and rude and doesn’t let you speak. The staff are not happy working with her and she’s new to the branch in South Wales. It used to be such a lovely place with everyone happy and smiling but since the new managers there were a massive difference I was going to put my bungalow For Sale with you I can’t I really can’t. I’m sorry you’ve lost The Sale with this all down to your Staff. Somebody who is too outspoken and Direct speaks over you the kind of person you want when you’re selling your home it’s a nervous thing and it’s a big step to be told. I am the manager of this Door and I have made multiple changes is not good you sold my last apartment years ago I won’t be returning.
