Due to other parties in the chain the process was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster to say the least but he managed everything with authority, provided timely updates on progress and kept us sane when we felt like we were losing the plot. GoogleAndrew and Charlane helped us buy our first home. They were always available to talk on the phone and were very polite and professional. I am sure the vendors were very happy with them but as buyers we are very unhappy with them. 4 months in and we are still finding new problems with the house, so we feel they overpriced the house which again is great for the sellers but not to us as buyers. They managed to sell us a house without an electricity or gas certificate (the house was rented when advertised so legally speaking these certificates were supposed to be available, and they assured us these will be obtained, but failed to deliver), all of the doors and windows have rot that was repaired with filler and painted over to not show, we found black mould behind large objects that we could not move during the survey, and a huge amount of garbage in the loft (basically the old landlords whatever they stopped using in their house they dumped it in the loft). There were many concerns about the property, and they assured us everything will be sorted but it wasn’t. They justified the musty smell as a smell due to the lifestyle of the guy who was renting the place and if we ventilate the place it will go away, but it didn’t because it was caused by mould. They always reassured us all these things were considered when pricing the property but in the end of the day, 4 months after purchasing the house we still find problems so we are very unhappy with what we were promised and what was delivered. We trusted them and we feel let down and disappointed. We shared our disappointment with them and they sent us contractors’ details and seemed understanding but this still does not justify or fix the price tag or the troubles we have been through to make the place safe and liveable. We are truly and deeply disappointed.

GoogleGriffin Stevens are exceptional letting agents that bring back honesty and Integrity to a much maligned profession.
I had rented a lovely garden flat for over 3 years with them and from both initial viewing, setting up contract, ongoing management and communications, Charlane and Cathy have been exceptional in the quality of service offered.
The landlord recently decided to recently sell up, however with the support from Charlane, we negotiated a mutually agreeable date to leave the property once I had found an alternative.
I had spent most of the last 3 months looking at alternatives with the large high street letting agents and was shocked by their poor quality and misleading information. This is in stark contrast to the character Griffin Stevens.
Griffin Stevens offers a proper bespoke experience for both landlords and renters and will always be my first port of call in any property dealings in the future.

Andrew and Charlane were straight and honest throughout the process of the purchasing of our house - one they were selling. They kept us up to date on regular basis and made us feel looked after. That led us to the decision to abandoned our previous agency through which we used to let our buy-to-lets and appoint them to market our rentals, one of which was let within a day and for above the asking rent. GoogleGriffin Stevens are a business you can rely on like family and best friends. Once you’ve found them all you need to do is be a customer for life! The level of care, professionalism, honesty, integrity and expertise is second to none. Their customer service is off the scale. Everything is done with a smile and at a cost that puts the competition to shame. They remove all the hassle and stress of property dealings and just make things happen. Such a refreshing change to the norm and far beyond any expectation I had.
When I recently transferred the letting and management of my flat to Griffin Stevens I also presented them with a significant renovation and maintenance challenge. Charlane managed the whole project seamlessly and kept me informed of progress at all times. She found new tenants in no time and factored in a void period of one month to complete the work. She obtained quotes, booked contractors, negotiated prices and liaised with the property management agency. She also fully project managed the design work and did the running around for fittings, fixtures, sinks and tiles. The work was completed on time and the new tenants moved in the next day. I have genuinely never come across a service like this. My only criticism would be their service charge is far too low!
I’m not someone to hold back from customer service issues so I don’t say these things lightly. Griffin Stevens are the best business I’ve had the pleasure to deal with in anything, anywhere and I can’t recommend them highly enough. In an industry that suffers from reputation problems they are true trail blazers and stand out from the crowd.

An extensive amount of expertise which really helped with my sale (including good legal recommendations and valuations of other properties) and the most important thing for me was complete honesty and transparency from the very beginning (which remained throughout the process).
Communication is key and this was consistent to keep me up to date and feel assured.
This is the first ever Google review I have written but felt compelled to due to the fantastic service Griffin Stevens provided. Whilst this industry is often tarnished with a bad name, this small, local business certainly does a great job from not being part of this.
