It was the first time that an agency called me back to discuss a viewing of a property which I am grateful. Rino was an absolute pleasure to talk to as he was polite, friendly and helped me a lot with the process. I definitely felt easier to talk to him as he built good rapport. The agents were ONLY unbelievably helpful BEFORE YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT. After that they just disappeard. One area manager even tried to violate one clause in the contract, trying to make a view for potential buyers 3 months prior to the end. We reported that we need small fixes for the lights and NOBODY CAME. Horrible service. Complete fraud.

Stirling Ackroyd is a terrible estate and letting company. To be exactly accurate, Clive Martin is the worst when it comes to them lot. The check in and check out inventory matches with of course the additional normal wear and tear but he will force you to pay for it. What he is doing is called Day Time Robbery.Metro Central Heights Vantage Building is known for having black moulds due to the windows' inability to block moisture as the building is old but he will say that the moulds needs to be cleaned despite the moulds being already absorbed into the laminate. He will charge you for that. Again, Day Time Robbery. There are too many to mention when it comes to how bad Stirling Ackroyd is. I mean Stirling Ackroyd may be a good company but the people working for it are just too terrible especially Clive Martin. I don't understand why he is still there working for Stirling Ackroyd but if the workers are like that, the company must be bad too for retaining these kind of people, right?My advice to all is this: Avoid Stirling Ackroyd. There are better Lettings and Estates companies out there. If you see Clive Martin in the paperwork, information etc, better cross the road and go for the competition. Stirling Ackroyd is just bad.

Rino, Ant, Adnan, Rhys and Matt were all incredibly helpful and knowledgable and, as a first time seller, they guided me through the entire process and were always there with any questions I had along the way. Above all, they were able to sell my house at a great price, I can’t recommend their services enough

Morgan and Rodney in particular were amazing throughout the experience and went out of their way to keep us updated with any progress and communicate what was happening. They were always happy to answer questions and actively checked in with us regularly. An all round brilliant estate agents that I highly recommend and would use again in a heartbeat.

AWFUL. Would give 0 stars if I could. I will never rent with them again. Jessica Lebba was our property manager and was completely useless. Took ages to respond to emails/didn't respond at all. Repairs either weren't carried out or took forever to be completed. Our balcony door was broken when we moved in and it took almost a year to fix (was fixed 2 weeks before we moved out), despite the multiple promises to repair it when we moved in, meaning we froze during the winter with a constant draught and minus degrees, meaning our heating bills were sky high. We had horrible broken beds which took a month to replace so we had no sleep for the first month of the tenancy. The ensuite toilet was also broken and despite many attempts to get Jessica arrange a contractor to fix it the repair was only done when the other toilet broke months later during lockdown leaving us with 0 functioning toilets. Stirling Ackroyd falsely advertised the flat with a roof garden which we found out we had no access to when we moved in. They are now trying to blame us for damage that was caused by previous tenants and was evident in the check-in inventory, despite our efforts to keep the flat immaculate and leaving it in better condition than it was when we moved in. I could go on but I don't want to waste any more of my time on them. Honestly AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

GoogleIf you decide to get property true Stirling Ackroyd ,most likely when’s your tenancy is going to end .you have to forget about your deposit the agency will be in landlord side there’s no justice. Hope in the future the owner off the Twickenham branch do something about the justice between the landlord and the tenants.

TrustpilotAmong the worst for service - not recommended
Among one of the worst estate and lettings agents I have ever come across. As a landlord the most important thing is to have proper vetting of proposed tenants. Stirling Ackroyd managed to find a tenant which passed their 'stringent reference check', which of course you pay for - but it turns out after the contract had been signed, that there were multiple red flags. They then denied any responsibility for the poor quality check. Then is the responsiveness - it takes about a week for them to reply to an email, and they rarely return phone calls. Despite paying for a fully managed service, it's often up to me to chase the rent - only when you email / try to call them to ask where the rent is, do they then realise you're owed arrears. This is tip of the iceberg. I am looking to sell the property, as well as buy a few more, but there is no way I am using them.

I have had a few tricky tenants recently, who have not been honest or respectful and Rebecca has helped me resolve issues and achieve the desired outcome. She's a competent and knowledgable property manager and can be recommended.

Tajia and her team in the Mitcham branch were incredibly helpful and kept us updated regularly on all that was happening. Tajia was brilliant at understanding the complexity of our situation in renting out our property. We managed to get all the remedial works done on time and get the property rented out at a better price then we had original bargained for. Would definitely recommend using Tajia and her team at Stirling Ackroyd again.
