GoogleExcellent service from Featherstone Leigh, especially from Prue Semba. Prue is very friendly, knowledgeable and patient since it was my first time renting. Had great communication throughout the process. All the referencing/documents etc were straightforward too. I would highly recommend Featherstone Leigh.

All the renting process (From the initial contact stage to the moment we received the keys from the office) was filled with respect, fairness, and good communications - from the tens of agents we contacted to enquire about properties across the years, Featherstone Leigh is the only firm that NEVER forwarded our call to an automated responder nor a receptionist that promises a call-back but never do! Since then, she and Prue Semba have found us a series of good tenancies with short down-times in-between. On selling, a buyer was quickly found at the right price. Jo skilfully and efficiently liaised with all parties concerned and helped resolve issues as they arose to ensure timely completion. Jo and her team have consistently provided professional and friendly service based on their key knowledge of the local property market. THIS REVIEW RELATES TO FEATHERSTONE-LEE,15 SHEEN ROAD SALES BRANCH, AND THE LAZY ATTEMPT TO SELL MY 41 YEAR LEASE GARDEN FLAT ON RICHMOND HILL. DECEMBER 21 TO MAY 2022. IT TOOK 3 DAYS TO VIEW, APPRAISE AND PHOTOGRAPH. 4 MORE DAYS TO REALIZE HE HAD ADDED A BEDROOM AND £100,000. 2 MONTHS TO MOUNT ON RIGHTMOVE. THE FIRST VIEWEE WAS GIVEN THE HIGH PRICE AND TOLD IT WAS FREEHOLD. SUBSEQUENT NEGOTIATIONS WITH THAT PARTY SEEMED TO FIZZLE OUT. AT ONE STAGE, THE MANAGER TOLD ME THERE HAD BEEN ABOUT 12 ENQUIRIES BUT OFFICE STAFF SAID NONE ACCORDING TO RECORDS. OTHER VIEWINGS TOOK PLACE. I HAD TO CALL TO FIND OUT IF THEY HAD FINISHED ANY VIEWING SO I COULD RETURN HOME. ONE TIME I CALLED ON A SATURDAY, STAFF SAID VIEWEE CANCELLED THEN SAID DIDN'T TURN UP, THEN SAID BOTH AGAIN BUT THE OTHER WAY AROUND BECAUSE IT SEEMED TO SOUND BETTER. ALSO SAID IT WAS A VIEWING OF A DIFFERENT STAFF MEMBER BUT WHEN I ASKED HIM HE SAID HE KNEW NOTHING OF IT (AND HE I BELIEVE) NEVER WAS I CALLED WITH UPDATES OR IDEAS TO CHANGE STRATEGY. I NEEDED TO GO INTO OFFICE TO FIND ANY INFO AND NORMALLY FOUND ONLY 1, 2, 3 STAFF. THE OTHERS WERE SAID TO BE ON DAYS OFF OR 4 DAY WEEKEND OR JAMAICA OR ITALY. OF TEN CALLS WITH THE MANAGER (YOU CAN CALL ME ANY TIME), ONLY 3 CONNECTED. THIS BRANCH MAY INDEED BE ABLE TO HANDLE PROPERTIES THAT SELL THEMSELVES BUT MINE REQUIRED SOME EXTRA WHICH APPARENTLY WAS UNIMAGINABLE. THERE WAS MORE BUT ENOUGH SAID. I WITHDREW.

GoogleUnfortunately we had a very negative experience with this agency which meant we lost a property mid way through the process and meant we lost money on legal fees/ a lot of our time was wasted. Due to the lack of transparency by the agents the property we were trying to purchase didn't have the correct HTB funding available despite being advertised as such. The agents also seemed to know nothing about the HTB scheme. To make matters worse the director at the agency told us we would be able to continue with the purchase once this was sorted only to go and re-advertise the property, without telling us this was the case and we found out online. She then gave poor excuses as to why it was re-advertised which made absolutely no sense and we had to contact the developer directly to get our deposit back after it had been re-advertised which was also an awful experience. Really poor professionalism and transparency making it clear why people find it difficult to trust estate agents who always seem to have the developer or sellers interests.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

She drove the sales process with her personal attention, sound property skills and honed experience of the right buyer profile, the right price and the proactive approach required to achieve a timely, efficient sale. Sophie, Jo and the rest of her team were such a welcome change from the 'list it and wait' approach of many rivals. Led by Jo O’Sullivan who ensures a personal service of the highest quality and has guided me through two property sales, one purchase and multiple lettings with flair. She has her finger on the pulse of the property market and I have profited from her advice over the last 13 years. I have been involved one way or another in the purchase and sale of eleven properties so have had plenty of experience of estate agents - some very bad. In contrast, Featherstone Leigh in Kew provides an excellent service at a time that is fraught with stress for many clients because of the uncertainties of transactions and the unpredictabilities of vendors, buyers, landlords and renters. GoogleGreat service received when selling our new flats in Kew earlier this year. The team engaged with us productively at an early stage to help with details such as finishes and specifications which helped make the flats appealing to buyers. All flats sold efficiently during the pandemic which is a great outcome. We found the team to be helpful, knowledgeable and professional throughout, especially Jo and Prue. We look forward to working with them again.

Very disappointing experience. They over promise and under deliver. We had been warned that they sometimes send the "lady from the Richmond office" Sophie, who will tell a great story of how awful other agents are and how she will be available whenever needed. When I said other agents had heard this before, and she just disappeared, she told me she had been furloughed. What was her excuse this time? After hounding us daily to leave the other estate agent, she ghosted us once it was done. As for the others. Had to email Matt the assistant director several times to correct the spelling of our housing details. Communication was terrible. We were told of some viewings after the event. We had felt that the agent was working for our buyer not us, but having spoken to her, sounds like he was pretty poor there too. We sold the house, yes, but for less than the agent has suggested. Glad it's over. It is galling to think how much they earned, given the low quality of the little they did

They were good property managers, but there is a lack of communication between departments. Also, they have a tendancy to just forward emails from tenant to landlord - they manage admin rather than property. They recommend cleaners and then charge odd amounts for things that haven't been cleaned properly. They also provide costs without explanation or proof. Friendly but do not think.

GoogleThese jokers took the deposit and admin fees for a property twice from my current account! Then made a week's worth of excuses about the money being tied up somewhere.
