We recently exchanged contracts on a transaction. The agent was Alistair Maclean. He was great throughout with chasing all parties to bring the transaction to a successful conclusion. In contrast to some estate agents, we felt they valued landlord and tenant equally, and weren't phased by our request to renegotiate a couple of terms in the tenancy agreement. We are a current tenant and have raised multiple issues with the landlord however Dexters continually give us messages that they are following up on the issue but no correspondence from there on. Issues like a broken fridge took more than 2 weeks to be sorted and we have outstanding issues that have been "followed on" for months.Dexters have shown they will align themselves with the landlord and not the tenant.

When leaving a joint tenancy, all parties spoke to Dexters, agreed everything and notice was handed in. 3 months later went back on explicit guidance to try to extract additional charges from both tenant and landlord. Staff member was unhelpful and lied about past advice given. Do not recommend working with this company.
