We are moving from the USA to the UK and enlisted Chesterton’s help to find a flat to let. We dealt with several branches & agents, but by far the most helpful was Shannon Kearns. She showed us more properties than all the other agents combined! More importantly, she took the time to educate us about the area throughout the day. We could tell she really has her customers’ best interests at heart and was assertive without ever being pushy. We would work together with her in the future without hesitation.

I have been consistently misled by the local office that looks after Barnes and Mortlake over several years. Originally it was attributed to a turnover in staff and the problem was so big we naturally gave the time to resolve. However, our patience was misplaced. 10s of visits, emails, and meetings, and two years later, still nothing has been done. They have done a professional job of obfuscation and created the illusion of service. However, quotes have been lost, very few follow-up calls, and communication by omission and many, many quotes have been arranged, keeping us busy and under the impression, something was happening, but nothing.

Property management team of chestertons is a total disappointment. Even in emergent conditions instead of trying to be responsive, they are counting pennies. They left me in a drainage water flooded flat without any support, advising putting the heaters to max and opening the windows. In the fight of building and flat managements’ insurances, what you experience is totally meaningless to them. Their main concern is serving insurance companies. What I’ve learned is, getting and checking the insurance policy before you move in a rental is a MUST!!

GoogleI engaged with Chestertons (Amy and Steven) early December and in approx 2 months they turned around a new tenant for me. They not only were professional and helpful but always keeping me up to date and making sure everything ran like clock work. This was my first time dealing with a letting agent and if this is the service you get then wow! Thank you Amy especially you were relentless in making sure this deal gets done and I find a tenant before I moved. This is not a normal service, trust me I deal with sales people all the time!
