I'm an overseas landlord and hired Chestertons to manage my flat. From charging me £90 to literally change a lightbulb to taking several months to fix a crucial structural problem in the house, these people have been incompetent from day one. They take forever to respond, have no clear 'chain of command, and they overcharge for absolutely everything. Scammers. Do not recommend!

GoogleExceptional service - I'm absolutely delighted. Sarah and Matthew have made the process of selling my property almost enjoyable, and I even looked forward to their calls. My gut feel about them when I was choosing an agent was that they were without smarm, and that they were honest - and my gut feel was 100% right. They negotiated every hurdle, dealt with all problems creatively and effectively, and I'd use them again without hesitation. I highly recommend this team - they're brilliant.

GoogleA really good experience with the entire team at the East Sheen office. In a difficult market where we had a sale fall through last year, the team continued to put in lots of work and were optimistic about getting us a sale and they were right! Post the offer, Sarah especially worked hard to keep the process moving forward, chasing both the buyers and solicitors whenever we hit a stumbling block. I couldn’t recommend the team enough and they were also really competitively priced. Thank you!

I had a very positive experience with Chesterton. The agent showing the flat was polite and responsive and the agent managing my flat is very kind as well and very quick in responding to my emails and addressing any issues raised. They complete regular checks on the flat conditions (fire alarms, elettrical, gas, etc.) which is also great as it ensures the flat is in good conditions.
