Excellent Team At Chestertons

From day 1 on the first visit with Chestertons we have had a great experience. Selling houses is always stressful and our sale involved a very difficult situation. Chestertons went above and beyond. Great team, great communication, they endeavor to find solutions at all times and we have had possibly the best experience selling property with this team. I would say they have gone above and beyond. We found a great buyer almost immediately for a house that needed a lot of work, but the process has been seamless. We cant recommend highly enough. We had an excellent experience with Sarah Heavens-Lang from Chestertons East Sheen. We had been looking at various properties in the area but were never quite ready to put ours on the market.. Sarah gave us excellent advice which helped us decide to take the plunge. She was fantastic throughout our sale and found several motivated buyers for our property. She also provided great local knowledge and advice on our onward purchase and was available throughout the entire process. I was panicking about a situation of urgency. Called property management, Briana picked up, told me not to panic and that she would sort it. Over the course of the Christmas break I reached out to Maya about a property She had listed that had peaked my Wife’s interest. Upon getting back to us (over the break I must add!) We were able to have a viewing immediately. My Wife fell in love and the rest was history: I had an offer made that very same day, to which She had passed it on to the Landlord and got them to come back to Us within 7days during their New Year’s Holiday. She had made every attempt to sell our offer as the property had been on the market for <24hrs before we made it and She respected the understanding of our want for the flat and how it would mean a lot to us for Her to get us in the best position possible; thanks to Her hard work we got it and began referencing immediately. The process for referencing with Let Alliance was made as smooth as possible by Her work and we were able to get it all done within another week. We had successfully secured what We now consider the place we will be calling home for many years. I had the pleasure of working with Sarah from the sales team for the purchase of our flat in East Sheen/Richmond. I had registered with her about a year ago and was very specific, I told Sarah we were likely to only start looking in the spring of 2026, a few months went by and suddenly I got a call from Sarah to say she had a property that fits all my criteria, I was still sceptical as we were not quite ready yet but after viewing the place it was exactly what we were after, it fit the bill in many ways and we moved heaven and earth to try and make it work. A property that very rarely comes up! The purchase would not have happened without Sarah's keen eye and knowing her buyer extremely well! A very big thank you to Timothy Gray ( the sales manager) for negotiating the sale for us and ultimately getting it accepted after several bids were placed on the property. Sarah was amazing throughout the purchase and I could always rely on her for an update and to nudge the solicitors when needed. Sleep Deprivation Torture Thanks to Chestertons Incompetence

I recently rented a property through Chestertons. The letting agents were nice enough, but the moment we were handed the keys, the property management arm of Chestertons has been an absolute nightmare. The property was filthy when we moved in, so they promised to send a cleaner. The cleaner arrived, but told me that they'd only been instructed to clean one portion of a skirting board and steam clean the carpets. When I pointed out the grimy, sticky, filthy walls in every room, I was told they 'didn't clean walls.' Turns out, that was the least of our problems. There are no keys to the windows in the apartment and they're locked shut. The alarm system, which we were given no instruction for, beeps in the middle of the night and flashes a bright blue strobe light every time my partner or I move in the night. The previous tenant left furniture and wall mirrors in an unfurnished house, and there are a bunch of other minor maintenance issues we've flagged. The answer we keep getting is that they're "looking into it" and "hope to have an update soon".

By far the worst agency for tenants and landlords

Horrible, horrible, horrible experience with Chestertons Fulham lettings and property management. Multiple issues with the property left unresolved, we finally decided to cut our losses and leave, didn’t receive any compensation for living in a property which had stains and leaks and other issues, instead we were charged an early vacating fee. Escalated to management and then senior management, no one cared. It’s been 3 years we are still scarred by our horrible experience with this company and would not recommend it to our worst enemy. Stay well clear if you value your sanity.
