Decided to use Dylan Davies’ Estate Agents after a phone call with Jenna. Her professionalism, friendliness, knowledge and approachable manner was a decider for me. My decision was further enforced when I met Paul. No hard sell just an honest, open and professional approach on what would be the best way to market my home. Agreed on an open day and my home was sold within 5 days of going on the market. Service didn’t stop because my home sold. Jenna and Paul both kept in touch and helped settle my buyers concerns when sale took longer than expected. The service we received from Dylan Davies during a recent house purchase was not the motivated and professional service I was hoping to get from this agent. After our offer was accepted, it became clear that we had been given some false information by one of their agents, and this information was a contributing factor to us losing our buyer who has been waiting patiently for several months for our purchase to progress. It’s very difficult to speak to anyone on the phone. The phones are often not answered resulting in me or my husband emailing (and often waiting days for a reply, if at all) or having to go down to the office. We never received any pro-active progress calls/check-ins/updates from them which was a huge stress to us and the chain below as we were the ones having to find out what was happening. We had to do our own chasing of everything due to the seller/agent not communicating. They make big money from selling houses, and in my case, apart from the accompanied viewings, DD did very little to progress the sale of this property or keep us informed along the way.

Having been the first person to offer the full asking price for a property (16/5/17), I would have hoped that my offer would have been taken seriously, however this is far from truth. I was never contacted personally nor was I sent any emails to be informed that my offer had been rejected. I eventually found out that my offer was rejected when the property status on a popular property website was changed to `Sold STC` (around 20/5/17). Was this the only time they failed to contact me? No, I called on the 18/5/17 and I was promised a call with further updates regarding my offer later that afternoon, however the call never came. We contacted the Dylan Davies to definitively find out the status of the offer, and spoke to a different member of staff regarding the offer. According to the notes on file a voice mail was left on my mobile. After checking do you find I could find this voicemail? No. Dylan Davies you need to improve your customer service!
