Just how an estate agent should be from a seller's point of view. Sensible valuation of property and discussion of marketing strategy. Very good feedback from viewings with electronic notification of appointments. Negotiated a better price once an offer was received. Unlike many estate agents did not move on to the next property once the sale was agreed. Kept in touch both the buyers and their solicitor on a regular basis and fed back to the seller how things were progressing. Acted proactively to sort out any issues that arose along the way. Always pleasant to deal with and quick to respond to any queries by phone or email. Could not ask for more from Millie and the team.

I would highly recommend Retford's Newton Fallowell to anyone looking to buy or sell their property. I put my house on the market with them in 2019 and the sale was completed within a year. After speaking to various other estate agents in Retford, I chose to go with Newton Fallowell as Millie's professionalism and honesty really made me feel at ease. I knew exactly what I would be paying for and they had no hidden costs. The house was quickly put on Rightmove and advertised on social media, resulting in many viewings. Millie, Gareth and Tom ensured that they carried out all viewings so that I didn't have to. They all kept me upto date and offered me feedback after each viewing. We completed on the purchase of a house being marketed by Newton Fallowell (Retford) at the end of September. I have to say that if it hadn't been for the hard work and determination of Mandy and the other staff there, we would most likely still be waiting to move now nearing the end of October! Our own estate agents in Nottingham were very poor in comparison and we found that in order to get anything progressed with the sale of our old house, we (and our buyers) had to chase all the way throughout the process. (The fact that I wrote a 4 page letter of complaint about our own estate agent should give an indication of the problems we had selling our old property!). Mandy was excellent at giving advice on what we needed to do and when and guided us through the whole process. She was also very friendly, good humoured, reassuringly professional and focused on getting any issues sorted. Unlike our own estate agents, we had total confidence that any information shared with any staff member there would be passed to the relevant person and be acted on as soon as possible. It wouldn't be too much to say that the staff at Newton Fallowell were key in keeping us updated about what was happening all the way throughout the chain and went above and beyond to ensure the sale/purchase finally went ahead when agreed. Even whilst still waiting for confirmation of completion at 5.20pm on move day, Mandy was looking at alternatives to how we could still move into our new home on that day, working a longer day to offer support. Thankfully it didn't come to that in the end and we completed at the last minute! They say that moving house is stressful; moving house during a pandemic is worse! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Newton Fallowell to market our property should we ever be ready to move house again. Other estate agents who claim to be 'market leaders' could learn a lot from the staff team in Retford on how it really could and should be done. I have just completed a property sale and have been very satisfied with the NF Retford team’s service. A fair and realistic sale price was achieved and the sale completed in 2 months start to finish which is a great result for everyone concerned. Whenever I rang or called in I was always received friendly but professional service. A question over the phone was always dealt with promptly and when they say they will call back, they do - quickly and with the information I needed, no matter who you spoke to in the office, they all pitch in and take ownership of the issue. How many firms can you say that about ? Reasonable fee too. When selling the biggest asset you own, just ignore the silly tv adverts and choose a real and local company. Thoroughly recommended from me !

I was quite surprised after having viewed houses with other estate agencies: the process with Newton and Fallowell was efficient and straight forward. There was no messing about. Viewed the house within 2 hours of making the call to inquire about the house. When I expressed my interest, they got the ball rolling.
