TrustpilotGreat house but shocking customer service
Great house! But Avant Homes are painfully slow at getting snags fixed. My central heating system is still wired incorrectly (upstairs thermostats control downstairs rads for example) and I’ve been in the house over 9 months. No where near as good as other house builders for customer service.

the entire house buying process went smoothly without any major problems. Our questions were always eagerly and comprehensively answered and we were kept informed about the progress of the house construction. After moving into a new house, there are things to improve, but we still wait 3 weeks for someone to fix it. Overall we are satisfied and we can recommend. Avant homes

Terrible company. There should be regulator to properly deal with companies like this. site in newcraighall completed 2+ years ago and have left place like a building site. Disgrace

Iv been In my home 4 years now, I’m still waiting for my bathroom to be repaired from 3 years ago! 4 years and still no tarmac on the roads. The list of troubles Iv had are endless. If I could go back I’d have never bought from avant. Absolute cowboys.

Very poor communication from them - tried to contact multiple times about a development in Seaburn - lacking any detail / left various messages without follow up - don’t bother!

Experience with Avant homes has been terrible since the moment after reservation where before they were brilliant. We’ve had very snotty phone calls and emails from them about us and our solicitors despite the fact that all of the hold ups are on their end.

Terrible customer service and attitude post-sale! They just want a sale then you are left with no communication - still waiting for a completion date 6 months after signing the paperwork.

Got keys for our Avant home 22nd December. If it wasn't for my step brother checking the wiring my spouse wouldn't be here now after he was supposed 2 move a plug socket! All the fuses have been labled up wrong, still no one round to correct it!!!!

Thinking of buying an Avant home? DONT!I’ve lived in my house over a year now, I still have day one snags!! It’s a misery nobody should have to live with! Let alone pay for the ‘privilege’ I email Avant most weeks, and most weeks don’t get a response, but when I do, it’s empty, and no action actually happens.

We had great help from the sales team with the purchase of our new home. The moving in date was very stressful, especially as it was only a week before Christmas, and we only had confirmation the day before our move. However, our site manager and his team have been absolutely brilliant since we moved in and helped us so much.

Have found Lewis very helpful and informative. He has gone the "extra mile" in providing exemplary customer service. Whilst we won't be buying a new home in the immediate future, I would certainly contact Avant again as and when the need arises!

Very helpful service. Layout of houses are too small. Bedrooms in the show room do not have room for storage or wardrobes. Lack of space for gardens, kitchen space and nowhere to put a dinning room table.
