From the first meeting you could tell these agents knew what was required in making the sale a reality. The whole team were professional and friendly in finding the right buyers for our property. I cannot recommend Halliwell Marks highly enough. After struggling for over a month with my initial letting agent to find suitable tenants, the difference when Halliwell Marks stepped in was night and day. Within one week, they had already scheduled four high-quality viewings, and within two weeks of engaging them, we had secured exactly the kind of tenants we were looking for. Ryan was exceptional throughout the process. From the very start, he confidently assured us that he would find the right tenants within two weeks, and he delivered on that promise. What stood out most was how well he understood the specific tenant profile we were looking for and how accurately that translated into the candidates he brought forward. He also genuinely went over and above by matching the fees I would have paid with my initial agent, which showed a real commitment to fairness and to winning my trust, not something you come across often. The process was efficient, professional, and reassuring from start to finish. We had a smooth and largely stress-free experience purchasing our property through Halliwell Marks. Duncan and Mark were responsive and helpful when arranging access ahead of exchange, including for measuring up, which we appreciated. The real standout, however, was Rachel, their sales progressor. From the outset she was warm, professional, and incredibly proactive, keeping us informed at every stage of the process both above and below the chain, and helping to keep all solicitors moving. Her friendly, supportive approach made a huge difference at a time when communication often drops off elsewhere. Halliwell Marks, do whatever you can to keep Rachel. I was thoroughly impressed with Halliwell Marks from beginning to end. They helped me advertise and sell my property, and it all started with my initial conversation with Duncan. I also spoke with three other well-known agencies in the Redhill and Reigate area, but Halliwell Marks truly stood out. Duncan and Lance handled the property showings, and before I knew it, I had a buyer lined up. Then Rachel took over to coordinate everything between my buyer, my solicitor, and the seller of the new property I was purchasing. All I can say is if you are looking to buy or sell a property I wouldn’t look anywhere else but Halliwell Marks. After 2 other agents and all hope lost Duncan and the team gave me nothing but confidence and 3rd time lucky really was the case. Very pleased. Lovely people to work with. Moving is a stressful time but the team at Halliwell Marks have helped us at every stage. With our sale the way they marketed our house was just right. The photography and descriptions emphasised all the things we love about our house while making it attractive to a wide range of prospective buyers. We had 10 viewings and three offers within a week of it appearing on Rightmove and we were fortunate to find buyers who felt the same way we did when we first brought the house. This wasn't luck, but was due to the expertise of the sales team in knowing how to pitch it right and knowing the kind of buyers who would find our house attractive. Since then, it's been the usual rollercoaster of emotions and the occasional mini-drama as the survey was done and all the legal activity has taken place. We had three houses in our chain and four parties involved so there was always the potential for issues and hold-ups. It was such a relief to get to exchange although looking back I think we had a relative quick and smooth sale. The confidence and reassurance of the post sales team have helped us through this process. They have been on the ball at every stage. We received good advice throughout on things like price and potential solicitors to use. Overall just so friendly, genuine and professional. Thank you!

Very good experience using Halliwell Marks estate agents to sell our house. Richard was great with the initial valuation and gave us lots of valuable pre sale advice which helped us achieve a higher value than expected by other local agents. Rachel was excellent with the post sale detail and kept us informed as the sale progressed. Very helpful to have a dedicated person in the office to do this as communication is key in the buying and selling process. In conclusion we achieved the sale price predicted by Richard and the sale was steered through by Rachel in record time. Would definately recommend.

Taking the call from Richard back in August was the best decision I ever made. We had already found an agent we wanted to go too but his local knowledge was invaluable. He was respectful, efficient and very persuasive taking a gentler approach than other agents we had encountered. Great experience using Halliwell Marks. From the outset Mark gave great and honest advice, was efficient and marketed to genuine buyers. Rachel dealt with our sales progression and I couldn’t recommend her more. We had quite a long chain and time constraints, she was so reassuring during a stressful time and was really proactive ensuring everyone in the chain remained on task. We saw a lot of agents in our chain who were disorganised and unresponsive but Rachel is a credit to Halliwell Marks and we’re incredibly grateful for all her hard work to ensure everything went to plan.
