We were impressed with their regular communication with us as the transaction proceeded keeping us in the loop on developments affecting the chain of buyers and sellers, the ease with which they facilitated enquiries regarding the property with the seller, helpful suggestions as to solicitors and removal firms, the fact that everyone on the team knew who we were and that everyone in the office was nice to deal with. Awful estate agent. Tried to contact to arrange viewings and was ignored. Eventually was in contact, had a viewing and put in an offer. Unfortunately they sold to someone else, that fell through and I wasn’t contacted to be told that it was available again. Found property again on Rightmove, however it was sold again by that time. Again, that fell through (still not contacted), but we found it again and got our offer accepted. Used a surveyor Pip recommended, didn’t get the report in time before exchanging, but Pip put so much pressure on us and we were told the seller will pull out if we do not exchange by the end of the week even though we hadn’t had the survey report from his surveyor. Found the sellers address, turned up with a bottle of wine to apologise and say it’s not our fault holding it all up. We had mutual opinions on the estate agents and it ending with the seller happy to wait an extra fees days and we managed to move. A happy ending despite the awful estate agent experience.

We have had excellent professional help in the sale of our Reigate house. Jackson Stopps personnel were meticulous in assessing the pertinent information which buyers would need which also helped us to prepare our house ready for viewing. Jackson Stopps were very good at discerning the match of the house to the potential buyer which kept viewings to a minimum, and was less disruption for us. The photographs taken were excellent and took very little time to take and to publish. We were always able to speak to our allocated sales person whenever we needed to do so and we have had excellent guidance up to and after exchange of contracts. In this day and age it is all too easy to just send out a mass email but I’ve always appreciated the personal touch - something which is clearly advocated by Chris and his team at Jackson-Stops. I know estate agents work for the vender but as a buyer the service also matters. I can’t fault Jackson Stops at all in this regard . They really did go above and beyond to try and find me a house that matched my needs. They were really good at managing my expectations on the market but also the properties were seeing. Special shout out to Chris Fairclough he really went above and beyond. Such a good experience that I would definitely put them top of my list to sell with next time .. even though I hope that will be a long time away!
