Great service from the Reigate branch

Katarina at the Reigate branch was amazing! Cubitt & West were the estate agents for the property we purchased. Katarina not only let us know as soon as the property was coming to the market but throughout the process, kept us up to date. In addition to this, Katarina personally helped us chase the vendor's solicitors when there was a delay on their side. The deal wouldn't have gone through in time without her help.

I have bought two homes through Cubitt & West in Reigate now, both using Julian Bromwich who has been very patient, kind and helpful. I bought my last home through him after a divorce when I didn't quite have enough funds to find a good home but he found me a quirky place in need of some refreshment which was perfect at a perfect price and now I am moving (up the ladder!) into my next home again with his help at a good price and perfect location. I am very grateful to him and all of the lovely staff x

Terrible agency - appalling service

Terrible agency. Very unprofessional and unreliable. I made an appointment to view a property last Saturday. This was confirmed by text and email. However when I called the office when I was 10 mins away, they kept me on hold for 5 mins before telling me there was no appointment and no one could show me the property. If they can’t even get that right why would you trust them to buy or sell your property?

Shocking management and horrendous tenants

Shocking management of our house that was left in pristine order for the tennants that were supposedly vetted from April 2022 to January 2024. stipulations in our lease were ignored ranging from unauthorsed painting to sneaking in animals and carpets burnt with an iron. Broken pedistals, damaged floors,holes in roof and filthy state left in with mould along with an unkept garden and a damaged climbing frame, broken suitcases left in our shed. Every time i complained or brought things to their attention C&W would just reply with how they couldnt really do much to ensure the tenants upheld the agreements in the lease. They take days to reply to emails and requests to get things fixed and promise so much that they just dont deliver. Considering we have bought and sold through them since 2008 id expect some form of loyalty from them and measures taken to right the situation! They show zero regard for the personal attachment we had to our family home and we entrusted it to them based on the sales pitch they gave. Wont be letting with them again thats for sure.
