BUYERS STAY AWAY. Dealt with Chris Stamp at Ralph James regarding a property that (allegedly) we got an offer accepted on. Never got anything in writing despite asking repeatedly, said he would do something and then not do it, kept leading us on and never got a straight answer. Eventually we found out that the seller had accepted another offer without informing us. Will be taking this up with the ombudsman as it was clearly in breach of the code of conduct. It's a shame as it's exactly the type of agent that brings disrepute to the profession. We fully advise against anyone attempting to buy in the area - to experience such dishonest behaviour when you are handling the single largest financial transaction of your life is despicable. Avoid at all costs.

First class 5 star service from the valuation through to completion. They kept us informed on a regular basis, understanding that communication is so important when buying/selling. They chased the other party when needed so the process went as smoothly as it could do. A special mention to Sadie and Robin who dealt with the sale. After what felt like a lifetime of struggles trying to sell our flat, Marie-Elise was a fundamental part of getting the exchange over the line. We lost a buyer due to mortgage rates but Ralph James organised multiple viewings for the following weekend resulting in another successful offer the same weekend. With an uphill battle from the beginning, and working against tight timelines Marie did everything she could to stay on top of the sale, communicated between multiple parties and ultimately got the sale over the line. It's rare to find someone within the 'moving game' that is consistently in communication with you and chases things up before you have to ask them. Thank you so much Marie for getting us to this point! And to Ralph James for the great marketing of our property.

Ralph James showed us a property in summer 2017 when we first decided we should downsize, nearly 6 years later they were still patiently showing us properties that fitted our brief (they must have been quite exasperated, but never showed it). After 30 years in our family home we were fussy and looking for a property that was special - Ashley had promised he would find us one, and true to his word he eventually did, and it is perfect. That was half of the conundrum solved, the other half, the sale, was a much quicker affair. Ashley and the team know their patch and clientele extremely well and within a week we had 4 offers. We have seen their agency grow over these 6 years, it is well deserved and we have no hesitation in recommending their services to anyone.

I couldn’t have asked for a better service when I decided to rent my property thorough Ralph James. Having recently moved abroad I needed an agent who was knowledgeable, professional and able to deal with everything quickly and efficiently, which Sam did. Have just deal with Chris, Robin & the team for a purchase in Redhill and wanted to reach out to thank them personally. I'm in the unusual position of working in the agency industry personally, my standards are naturally high and really have to commend their whole team on a job well done. Having been the bottom link of a five property chain, in which Chris was overseeing the sales of three of the properties what could have been a seriously stressful or time consuming process was made simple. Robin regularly kept us updated and took into account our needs for timescales along with each of their clients and could not have done more to make this work for all involved. Having now exchanged in 5 weeks, from point of offer acceptance (which I simply thought would never happen) I couldn't have been happier with the service received and would recommend them to anyone looking to buy in the area. Ralph James were brilliant from start to finish during the sale of our house. Robin and Ashley were always at the end of the phone or a text to keep us updated and reassured throughout. The market changed a bit between our initial valuation and when we were ready to list so we ended up getting a little less than we’d hoped for, but that’s life!
