GoogleI have been a tenant of Petty's for 12 years and have found them to fantastic landlords agents. They have caused me no anxiety whatsoever. They have never been pushy, have always put my case fairly to the landlord, and have been very flexible in all their dealings with me. Anyone choosing between properties at different estate angents should factor in a much easier, stress free life with Petty's.

I had an extremely positive experience with Petty Son. They were professional, kind and dealt with our purchase in a very competent fashion. They were always willing to go the extra mile and help me. I must emphasize how incredible Catherine is, I had a hundred questions every time we spoke and she always knew the answer to all of them. Highly recommend.

Whatever you do: DO NOT use this estate agent. They leased me a flat for my 80 year old disabled father with no working intercom, no working fobs and no opportunity for a lockbox, meaning he would have been completely isolated and have no way of getting any care or support. The staff lied about what they’d said and were unbelievably unhelpful. They left my dad homeless and me several thousand pounds out of pocket through deceit. I am taking legal action and URGE you not to use them.
As a small family run independent agent we have survived and indeed thrived over many years through recommendations from our many satisfied customers. We always welcome feedback of all types even negative albeit more difficult to hear but we strive to always do better. It was incredibly unfortunate that your father was unable to move into the property but the circumstances that led to this were completely out of our control. It was at your insistence to rent the property despite the fact we advised on more than one occasion we felt the flat was inappropriate for your father because of the stairs. The fault to the main gate intercom was reported to the managing agent immediately we were made aware. We arranged for additional fobs to be supplied immediately for your father’s carers to use as a work around whilst the work was actioned to rectify the issue on the gates. As you are well aware you were given permission to install a key safe near the flat itself but due to the fact the main gates were listed permission was denied to install one on the main gates. At no time were any of the team unhelpful, in fact, you know well how hard they all worked to try to remedy the situation given the unforeseen circumstances. The team acted honestly and truthfully at all times, there was never any deceit from any of the team at any time. We have taken legal advice who confirmed we acted properly throughout this situation and the events that led to your father ultimately not moving into the property were completely beyond our control. The team treated the situation with the highest priority, worked extremely hard to work with all parties to offer a short term solution to this situation and have absolutely no reason or personal agendas to have act anything other than truthfully and honestly at all times.

Brilliant with communication and trying their hardest to make our journey as smooth as possible. They produced a magnificent brochure of our house, the photography was amazing. Arranged viewings, always helpful, professional and polite. Achieved the sale we were looking for, and at a very good fee. Fantastic.

We would highly recommend Petty Son and Prestwich. We initially made the mistake of choosing another agent but are glad we quickly made the switch to an agency where we experienced good communication and a mature and professional service. Their patience and attention to detail was sustained throughout the whole process of the sale of our house. Both Catherine and Elaine deserve particular mention for the genuine effort they put in in their different roles. We always found them helpful and supportive. We wouldn’t suggest you going anywhere else.

GoogleOur house sale was far more protracted than we anticipated with many a twist and turn. Throughout it all Petty Son and Prestwich were superb and we could not have asked more of them. All were polite and helpful but we must single out Elaine who played a major part in getting us to exchange and completion! We really appreciated her expertise, support and her endurance!

GoogleVery happy with this company, we have bought our first house with their help. Very straight forward, helpful, kept communication open throughout the whole process and as we were in a chain for a long time, they were getting back to us as fast as they could when we needed to raise an enquiry. At the end on the handover day Alain has driven to our place to give as a key and a bottle of Prosecco along with a card which we thought was sweet of them.
We're always so pleased to hear when a first time purchase goes well and to be a part of that. At Petty's we will continue with our efforts to make this a 'typical' home buying experience and in the meantime we hope you enjoy your first home in the wonderful Buckhurst Hill!

GoogleWe bought a house in Wanstead via Petty Son & Prestwich and found them very friendly, helpful and professional. They kept in regular contact during the sales process and were happy to manage our negotiations with the seller (though at one point they got a bit pushy wanting to get the sale over the line, but this is probably to be expected from an estate agent). Staff remained friendly and helpful following the sale as well, and were happy to give us advice on how much value our home improvements could add to the house. Overall very happy with them.

GoogleWe were very happy indeed with PSP; during the valuation it was obvious that the agent had in-depth and fine-grained local knowledge of the market in our area. PSP then quickly produced very high quality marketing materials (brochures and online) and quickly arranged a large number of viewings. We sold the house for a price we were very happy with in about 3 weeks. PSP provided excellent advice and assistance throughout. I recommended them very highly.
