Very happy with this company, we have bought our first house with their help. Very straight forward, helpful, kept communication open throughout the whole process and as we were in a chain for a long time, they were getting back to us as fast as they could when we needed to raise an enquiry. At the end on the handover day Alain has driven to our place to give as a key and a bottle of Prosecco along with a card which we thought was sweet of them.

We bought a house in Wanstead via Petty Son & Prestwich and found them very friendly, helpful and professional. They kept in regular contact during the sales process and were happy to manage our negotiations with the seller (though at one point they got a bit pushy wanting to get the sale over the line, but this is probably to be expected from an estate agent). Staff remained friendly and helpful following the sale as well, and were happy to give us advice on how much value our home improvements could add to the house. Overall very happy with them.

Firstly, Petty is a thoroughly professional company: efficient, very timely in all the communications, highly organised and extremely friendly. It is when things don't quite go to plan however (and how many house sales and purchases do go to plan?!), that their real quality comes through. They really fought our corner and, if it wasn't for them, the recent sale of our house would probably have fallen through. If they were sick of our numerous phone calls to them, they never showed it and always treated us as if we were their number one clients. You can't say fairer than that!

After looking for a property across many different parts of London for 3 years, and coming into contact with approx 50 estate agents some of who didn't even bother to turn up to viewings or listen to what we wanted, then Petty Son & Prestwitch then came along. Petty Son stood out a mile from other agents across London and in the Wanstead area. They actually listened to us, spoke frankly about the local property market, and I genuinely felt they understood our position and had us in mind for all properties within our budget. Unlike other agents in the area there was no aggressive sales pitch for using Petty Son as middlemen for a mortgage etc. They used their time to focus on us and the seller. They always responded to our emails and phone calls promptly. I just wish we had found Petty Son earlier. The main people we dealt with across two of their offices were Fran, Elaine, Pam, and Fay. Thank you. My partner and I would have no hesitation in recommending you and your firm.

Due to a coincidence, I happened to meet one of my tenants, and I was very pleased to know that they were very happy as well with the service that this company provides. I have come across other agencies before, and OMG, YES! (:P) I stay here forever!! They are very professional without loosing their smile. No need for hard negotiations regarding prices and percentages, as from the beginning they offer a reasonable number. They seem very transparent with everything, keeping you updated without disturbing (as a landlord). I bought this property through them as well, and even though at that point they were not as transparent (obviously they cannot say what the other offers are), the experience was so good that I went straight to them when I had to rent it out. 100% advisable!

We were very happy indeed with PSP; during the valuation it was obvious that the agent had in-depth and fine-grained local knowledge of the market in our area. PSP then quickly produced very high quality marketing materials (brochures and online) and quickly arranged a large number of viewings. We sold the house for a price we were very happy with in about 3 weeks. PSP provided excellent advice and assistance throughout. I recommended them very highly.
