"I’ve been a tenant with Goodmayes Home choice for 10 years from 2014-2024, and my experience has been nothing short of excellent. From the very beginning, the team has been incredibly professional, responsive, and attentive to any concerns or maintenance issues that arise, they always send an engineer / plumber the same day.
They truly make the effort to ensure the property is well-maintained and that tenants are comfortable and happy. We had 1 x fridge, 1x washing machine changed to brand new as soon as the one we had stopped to work.
The communication is always clear and efficient, whether it’s for routine matters or urgent requests. I’ve always felt valued as a tenant, with prompt responses and friendly service. They’ve made renting a stress-free experience, and I truly appreciate their dedication to providing a high standard of service. The property we rented was very comfortable and even though our family got bigger i was hesitant to move to rent another property when i hear stories about other estate agents and landlords.
I left this tenancy only because i have bought my own and guess what i got my deposit returned !!!
I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and customer-focused agency. It’s rare to find a rental agency that goes above and beyond to ensure tenants’ needs are met, and they’ve certainly done that over the years."

GoogleHome choice in Goodmayes is run by Scammers and dodgy people , they do not accept card, only cash in hand and no receipt given for transaction. Took 300£ deposit and promised to get repaint of the flat and the carpet changed as it was in dire need of fixing. Before moving in , when we visited none of the two had been done and refused to refund the deposit as my wife is asthmatic and we could not move in with the dust and unclean carpet . If only I could leave zero review I would have given them 0 review for the rubbish people skills and fraudster service. The manager had the worst of people skills , started yelling and swearing and screaming on us when my wife was pregnant at the time. They ganged up on us like street thugs. AVOID AVOID AVOID ❌

GoogleI have been renting property through Homechoice for last 3 years or so. During all these years, my experience working with them has been very nice.
Homechoice were very professional when they handed over the property, as I was provided a detail inventory list and photographs of the property showing in which state it was given, thus expecting the same from the tenants while leaving. I thought the whole process was very transparent and ruled out any potential issues.
During my stay if there was any assistance I required , home choice were available almost immediately and also would arrange the concerning person (plumber or electrician) at a short notice.
Lastly, homechoice went out of the way to help me when I had a personal emergency and I cannot thank them enough.
Fantastic agency to work with. You should be rest assured that you are in best hands. Thanks again to DEE, DAL and all the members of the homechoice staff.

GoogleI messaged Dee, the letting agent one hour and 15 mins before the viewing time to say I was running a few minutes late. They waited until the time of the viewing to say they couldn't wait and left. Why make me even waste my time by traveling there? I even explained that I'd traveled over an hour but they didn't care and still left. I wouldn't give these cowboys even a pound of my hard earned money. They don't value their customers.

GoogleI had been with home choice since 2018 and trust me, never had a single issue from them. Dee and Dal helped me with all the concerns very quickly. Initially I was afraid as I need to stay with small kids and any issue like boiler not working,etc will impact kids very quickly. But home choice ( Dee and Dal) helped in all ways and used to solve any kind of issue quickly. Even during COVID times as well when contract was ending and not sure whether to extend contract or not, these wonderful and amazing guys helped me with good suggestions and helped me in all ways.

GoogleMy worst experience with agencies so far !! Vinny, the manager is very rude guy. Does look like members of staff does not talk to each other, whenever you need something, it takes ages to finally get it, because you have to phone them with the same issue few times, and everytime speak to diferent person, who does not know that you've already phoned with the same issue before. Emailing works same way - they pretend they never received your emails. And, they fake your signatures on documents!! Would not recomend this agency to anyone !!!

We are surprised to learn of the difficulties you have had with HomeChoice. Although we not particular aware of your individual case, we strive ourselves on the service we provide and hence why we have built up a large portfolio of landlords and tenants alike. I would advise that if you are dealing with a particular person in the office to stick with talking to them, as it saves time mentioning the same things to a another member of staff.
Furthermore on some maintenance issue, the contractors we use would be relying on parts and we know that on occasion this could take a few working days at which time our hands are tied in regards to what we can do.
We strongly believe you are mistaken in regards to fake signatures, as we have no need, to sign or forge anything. Landlords who are often aboard or not in the area give HomeChoice permission to sign the contracts on their behalf, and we believe this was the case with yourself and not as your think fake signature.

GoogleI called on behalf of a friend who is looking for a flat. after asking name and telephone number they asked me if she was working . When i told them she was working part time , so they will be clamming some benefits, this guy ''Vinny'' call me a time waster !! Literally told me: - You should have said that firs thing when you called and don't make people waist time, then he hung up on me. I was mouth open, how rude this guy can be!
I call him back to ask his name and he said that he is the owner of the agency and if I have any complaint i should get back to him. The funny thing is that someone already told me not to call this agents as they are non professional and not serious at all, but I could not imagine that.
My advise NOT TO DEAL WITH UNEDUCATED PEOPLE such as this agents.

Thank you for your feedback and sorry to hear you had a bad experience with Homechoice.
However we must emphasise we do not deal with housing benefit tenant(s), you must be working professional(s) and earning at least 2.5 times the rent to pass through our rigorous referencing procedures and strict landlord requirements for tenants.
This was simply explained and we can understand the frustration as there is very limited stock out there, but we simply don’t deal with DSS tenants.

GoogleI have been renting for 4 years a studio flat with garden in Goodmayes, and to be honest, in 4 years never had an issue with the support or help from this letting agency. When ever needed or had a property issues, they solved it promptly and given the necessary advice. The tenancy deposit was protected by a government scheme and I was notified from the agency after 3 years to be given my money back with their statement that I have been a good tenant. Dal and Dee are two amazing guys by offering you the best and quick customer service. Overall, this agency really works in the tenants' interest and is trying it s best to make to feel you as much as comfortable and relaxed like in your own house.
