I have today exchanged on my purchase through Douglas Allen. It’s been a long road over 9 months with lots of uncertainty at times but I’d like to take this opportunity to commend the support that I’ve received in particular from Stephen, Ash, Kashif & Rosalie, and the wider team at Woodford Green. Being my first purchase, the communication and updates have been on point throughout the process even when I’ve been torn emotionally, shouting down the phone, or turned up at 9am on a Monday morning when things weren’t going to plan all of the team have been rocks in the process. They’ve guided me through every step of what was new to me with their vast array of experience and made sure that we got to the finish line and able to smile. Stop Press - House Sale Goes Through Smoothly

Let’s face it, the estate agency business doesn’t garner the best of praises from the general population. With this in mind, I approached the task of selling my property with a degree of fear and trepidation. I already had some previous interactions with agencies when I was considering the sale of our house. But when I met the folks at Douglas Allen Woodford Green, I felt a real sense of positive engagement. It all starts with head honcho Stephen Ford. Upon my very first meeting with Steve, he immediately made an effort to understand our property, and the motivations of the sale. He took the time to do a realistic valuation based on square footage and an intimate knowledge of the area. Prior to that, I found no other agent as technical in their assessment as Steve’s. The follow up valuation report was thorough and remarkably detailed, and less based on whimsical intuition. Steve also struck me as someone with a great deal of integrity and that for me sealed the deal. His tone and character permeates through to the other members of staff at the branch as well - Ash and James are some of the class acts that spring to mind. The process of moving was long and drawn out - mainly because of a long and undecided chain. But at no time did we feel in any way rushed to make decisions or to hurry things along. We also leaned heavily into Steve’s extensive knowledge base of all things moving related and really valued his guidance in all manner of things. In short, team Douglas Allen Woodford Green delivered. This maybe a sample size of one, but consider all boxes ticked.

I have nothing but postive things to say about the service we have received from the Walthamstow branch of Douglas Allen. Since booking the first viewing of the house we are buying, through to almost completing on the sale, we have had a friendly and very responsive service. Maria handled the offer and negotiation process quickly and effectively and made the communciations with the seller very easy and smooth. Ben has handled our later viewings fo the house with great patience - nothing was too much trouble for him, and also offered very helpful advice about surveys, etc. And Nina who answers the phone always seems to know who I am! So all round, as buyers, we are very happy with the team.

I recently sold my property through the Walthamstow branch of Douglas Allen.I had used two different estate agents previous to this with no luck but my house sold within a couple of weeks of going with Douglas Allen.I have mainly been dealing with Ameer and Maria and they have been really helpful. This is the first time I have sold a property so don’t really know the process but they have helped me through every step of the way and I have been able to go into branch (COVID safe) and they have helped me go through any paperwork I didn’t understand.Everyone in branch are really friendly and happy to deal with any queries.For anyone not sure which agents to go with when selling their property I would highly recommend these guys

He took the time to listen to what it was that we were looking for and thereafter arranged viewings which were suitable- this is in contrast to other estate agents.
