We have used Douglas Allan Basilidon on many occassions, using them to buy and sell property.We have recently sold a house. Greg Wade (manager) came to view the house and advised us on the value and selling options ( we had researched the prices locally and was glad that Greg valued it realistically ). the viewings were trouble free, and we were kept informed of all the offers. When we decided to accept an offer, Michelle Brown was very good at keeping us informed and was able to answer all our questions through to exchange.Over all a pleasant and stress free experience again.

I bought with them and have now sold with them 4 years later and Natasha has been incredible. She’s kept me sane through my stressful moments and has been on the ball throughout! My partner and I have been looking for a property to rent in London. We came across a property that we were really interested however it took a long time for us to hear a feedback from the Landlord and thought we wouldnt be getting the property. We were surprised when we received a call from them updating us and recommending another property that is to our liking. We didnt expect for them to be very proactive, helpful and really good communicators. We appreciate there help so much. We then have an interest to another property and went through the referencing process. We thought it was really tedious process but they were very supportive. When we had some questions they were really quick to pick up the phone and help us with our queries especially Jodie. She was a very lovely person. We then had to back out in renting the property due to some personal reasons. When we explained to them they were very understanding. They still supported us and continued to be good communicators. Over all our experience to the team was very pleasant. Kuddos to Jodie, Joana and Luisa who were very helpful and are very lovely people.

Terrible experience with Stuart Pass when looking to purchase. Maybe we were just unlucky as there’s so many 5 star reviews. He considerably upset my partner in the purchase process as branch director/manager. Decides to break bad news via voicemail on a Friday afternoon before knocking off at 4pm for the day. Had the cheek to ask if we still wanted to buy after some underhand sales tactics. Clearly didn’t get any takers when he did otherwise he wouldn’t have emailed after the weekend asking if we were still interested. Ships sailed. No example set as branch manager to reach out to ask us why my partner was upset afterwards. I had to tell him. Poor management all round. Won’t be engaging with them in the future. Positive was Dawn was great with us when viewing the property. Kudos to her as we made an offer because of her. Shame the experience after was horrendous. Lo and behold the property hasn’t sold and is still on the market. This is why estate agents get a bad name as there’s no care and thought in what is considered a very stressful process for everyone involved. Go independent, they’ll respond faster and are much more personable. You’re not a number in their sales quota for the month/quarter. Good luck and hope you have a better experience than we did.
