We used fine and country Norwich…

We used fine and country Norwich office. We had used other agents previously with disappointing results and had negative experiences. Fine and country are different. Our first point of contact was Helen. She was very professional, helpful, friendly and an excellent communicator. She arranged and conducted the viewings herself and we got the full asking price for our property within 24 hours of going on the market! Although we had a couple of awkward moments Helen worked through these to enable the sale to go through. She maintained excellent communication throughout and was sensitive to peripheral issues. Richard and Natasha were also lovely and helpful. We would happily recommend fine and country Norwich to anyone who wants the best service.

I cannot recommend enough Fine and Country Diss Branch.Chris Scott came and valued our Grade two 17th Century home with obvious experience and insight to the current market . The Diss team throughout the process were so helpful e-mailing after each telephone call , clients details and giving feedback after viewings . Tania from the office has been so helpful during the offer negations and listened to our opinions. Throughout Tanya has been a source of professional advice and help .

Fine and Country represented the vendor in our house move, and yet they went beyond to help and support us. House moves are stressful, and yet they called us regularly to check-in and support us, they were friendly, efficient, professional and brilliant!! F&C Diss - 100% recommended, 110% happy!

So...it turns out that buying/selling a house in the middle of a pandemic isn't exactly easy! We found our dream house with F&C at Diss, Norfolk and made arrangements to go and view it. Tanya met us and showed us around, introducing us to some other properties available on the same development to make sure we made an informed choice of which one to buy. Our mortgage was arranged by Chris Beard, their preffered agent, and deposit paid. Subsequent viewing were arranged with Tanya and other staff members, never too much trouble and always happy to help. Then Covid appeared and our sale went wibble...holding everything up. Sue and Chris Scott stayed in touch, were reassuring and patient and made me feel like all wasn't lost. Chris Beard was relentless and made sure that all the financials were solid. They waited patiently for my place to sell and then helped us get prepared to move once everything started up again. Nearly a year after our first viewing, we finally moved into our home at the weekend!! Its everything we hoped it would be and we can't thank the whole team at F&C in Diss enough for sticking by us and giving us a first class service. 100% recommended, 110% happy!

Excellent service from Fine & Country East Yorkshire

Fine & Country East Yorkshire have recently dealt with the sale of my mother's 250 year old cottage. My mother is in her 90's and Alice and team were brilliant throughout; from the initial advice from Bob, who had researched the history of the property before he attended; they attended all viewings and were supportive of my mother through the whole process. Alice dealt with the negotiations and provided great advice, even checking in during her holiday to check how things were progressing when the final agreement was close. I would recommend their service without hesitation.

Nick helped us to realise our dream!

We want to thank Nick Barker for helping us to sell our property which we have been trying to sell since 2018! A Good Estate Agent makes All the Difference

We have been trying to sell our house for 2 years - Brexit and Covid both made the task more difficult. However after changing Estate Agents for one last go we found that Fine and Country Uckfield went above and beyond the call of duty. Not only were they clear and committed and their viewings professional - when we did get an offer that is where they came into their own. With a difficult chain at times we despaired of ever exchanging but our estate agent was there fighting for us all the way - calling different parties, sorting out issues until we finally, after a fraught day of many phone calls (placed by them) we were able to exchange and now look forward to moving. I can honestly say a good estate agent makes all the difference - not just in getting the best offer on the table but then fighting every step of the way for you until that offer becomes a reality! Cannot recommend them highly enough!

An agency that puts in the effort

While we were a buyer, so not the actual client of Fine and Country (F&C) Norwich, we have to say we found the agency’s approach highly impressive. Manager Helen Plumstead is super dedicated, and runs a tight ship. Big shout out also to Philippa Martinez, F&C’s After Sales Manager: she brings the added value to the agency, supporting both buyers and sellers as they work towards exchange. She keeps the information flow going and chases where and when needed. Philippa responded very quickly to emails, at a time when you need reassurance, particularly during those inevitable ‘what’s happening’ moments.We’d previously sold our house in a part of the UK where F&C don’t have a presence, and used an agency considered ‘top drawer’ for country house properties. Sure, they sold our house, but honestly, we were left wondering what they actually do for their absurdly fat fee, aside from hiring women with posh voices to book viewings that you then have to do yourself!Now we’ve bought our dream home, we’re obviously hoping not to have to speak to an estate agent for a good few years. But if (and when) we have to, Fine and Country will be the first agency we call.

Outstanding Customer Service

We bought a property through Fine and Country, Northampton. Jonathan Lloyd-Ham couldn’t have been more helpful. Jonathan’s customer service was exceptional. Throughout the whole time remaining professional and was always available for advice or just a sympathetic ear when there were frustrating delays. All through the process Jonathan was extremely efficient, he chased all solictors and at some points provided hourly updates. He always dealt with matters with a smile and good spirits which was comforting at a stressful time. Sold! Many thanks to Helen Plumstead along with Richard Cross for securing and managing the sale of my apartment. Assisted by Hannah and James, the process has been well done from start to finish. Yes, people look for their next home on Right Move however Right Move doesn't take the photographs, prepare brochures or handle the viewings, only one of which was done by me. Marie Fritz (Northampton) is AMAZING

Marie Fritz is a spectacular agent. She took over our home after our previous EA only provided neglect, stress and not a single offer throughout. Our home was as beautiful as it was unusual and we accepted our second offer (cash buyer none the less!) 6 weeks in. Communication with her was more than she promised she would deliver. We had 2 agents visit our house to carry out an appraisal and give us a valuation. The first agent informed us straight away to expect to settle for less than asking as this was common practice currently. The agent objected about COVID-19 and gave every reason why we should expect a rough ride. The senior gentleman who had been there and got the t-shirt in the estate agent world. He skimmed through our house and arrived at a valuation quickly. He went on to point out that many people were working from home and marketing would be hindered.Marie Fritz from Fine & Country was the next agent to appraise our house and wow what a different approach. Marie was from the outset self-assured and highly polished. We compared her to the Duracell bunny as she has unlimited energy. Marie offered highly professional marketing immediately with added modern ideas such as Facebook live. Fine & Country requested a contribution to the marketing which was unusual but ultimately it felt like we were in it together.The photos were amazing. Marie does not hesitate to arrange things as she sees fit, highly confident of what viewers on the extremely large variety of portals F&C use. Your house even gets shown in the shop window of Park Lane London, which we found enthralling.The viewings came thick and fast and were always accompanied. Much time taken to demonstrate the details of our home. No question too small to answer.It was not long that we had a buyer who made a very good offer, I will stress that it was over asking unlike the prediction from the more senior estate agent who had too many years of experience to mention.The whole process went smooth from start to finish. The fees are slightly higher than others but if you want unbound energy and someone available to talk to 24/7 via WhatsApp groups or phone. If you want honesty and complete trust and confidence, then Marie Fritz and Fine & Country is the agent for serious movers.

An overall underwhelming attempt at…

An overall underwhelming attempt at selling my house. What started off as an excellent service deteriorated into a complacency and hope that an easy win would be the outcome, which ultimately failed at my considerable expense. There were early indications the sale was not right which I had to bring to their attention, and an attempt to later remarket the property was to stay the least half hearted. My intelligence on the unsatisfactory background to the buyers was way better than F&C and they never nailed the weaknesses.It showed how little rapport or knowledge they had with the buyers They should have shored up a robust remarket, but instead played me against jeopardy of time re selling believing they had an easy sale. The truth is the market went crazy and they were shooting fish in a barrel and I was just a number. I consider their service sub standard for the fees. The so called fancy brochure is a waste of time when it follows up so long after your initial instruction. They give plenty of fancy talk but ultimately failed to deliver badly. I consider I am owed compensation for their tardy service and the predicament they have left me in, but when did any estate agent ever own up to their shortcomings.

Fine and Country - Stratford upon Avon

Clare Reeves at the Stratford upon Avon branch has been our absolute rock throughout the (ongoing) sale of our property. It has been the most stressful and painful experience we have ever faced, no doubt impacted by Covid and the sheer volume of work both estate agents and solicitors are facing. We have had to pull out of our onward purchase but Clare went above and beyond to try and keep this part of the chain alive even though she wasn’t directly involved. She called solicitors, other estate agents and us several times a day for at least three weeks solid to push things on and help out. We would have walked away weeks ago, but her tenacity and go-get attitude has kept us going. Fingers crossed we get our sale next week and the only reason that will happen is because of Clare. We can’t thank her enough. Would thoroughly recommend- this is a case of you really do get what you pay for. Thank you.

The whole journey has been incredibly stressful and difficult . Brilliant service

We have just exchanged on the property through Fine & Country in Diss and we have had a stressful ride due to the current climate and various complications. When we got our offer accepted Chris was so quick to liaise with us and the sellers to get it formally accepted & he was genuinely excited for us. The transaction itself was by no means easy - but thank goodness for Phillipa in the implementation team! She could not of been more supportive, persistent in chasing & very caring too . She provided constant updates and communication between the seller and ourselves so issues were dealt with as quickly as possible.
