We bought our new home via Robin Miles at Winkworth in Reading. We have dealt with many estate agents before but Robin is simply the best! Robin was absolutely fantastic from beginning to end: he was always straightforward to deal with (no sales talk or waffle, just honesty); super responsive; always friendly; and he would always chase people whenever things were slowing down. Thanks to his professionalism we always felt like we were in safe hands. Robin is an asset to Winkworth, and if we ever sell our new house Robin will be the first and only person we will call.

We used Winkworth to sell our house having previously used another Reading based estate agents. There was a stark difference in service and we were so impressed with the number of viewings Winkworth generated. We also had the same person conducting them (Tom) and he was always extremely helpful and professional. Throughout the sale process he kept us informed and updated and he was a real pleasure to work with. We wish we had used them initially as we probably would have sold quicker. If you want to sell your home worry-free and for an excellent price - definitely go with Winkworth. Could absolutely not recommend Winkworth more! Especially Robin! We got valuations from three estate agents back in summer. One massively underestimated our flat's value, the other overestimated to the point it was obvious they just wanted our business and would reduce the price after a week or so. Robin from Winkworth however took the time to go through the valuation with us in detail, explained what he thought our place was worth and why, showed us similar places and what they sold for (he knew the name of every single client for countless sales which was impressive!). He clearly is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about his job and took our opinions and worries very seriously. In the end he managed to sell our place for our top end sales price, our "if we achieve this we will be VERY happy" price, before our place was even listed. He also helped us throughout the process of finding a new place to buy. We had a really tough journey, not even counting the difficulties of finding a place during Covid. We had a house fall through after being jerked around by the vendors and the house we now finally exchanged on was tricky to get to this point (vendors are divorcing which caused delays). Robin gave us advise, ensured communication between us and our buyers was smooth and chased our vendor's solicitors (who were useless) relentlessly to ensure everything progressed. It was an incredibly stressful time for us and Robin was the one person that kept us calm and sane. This is probably the longest review I've ever written, but we just can't thank Robin and the team at Winkworth enough for all they have done for us. Thank you!

We selected to work with Winkworths exclusively after a couple of false starts elsewhere. Right from the get-go, Robin Miles has channelled a clear focus and positive energy, he demonstrates a highly experienced knowledge of the local market and led us through detailed and evidenced-based decision making in order to define our critical go-to-market approach. Under a focused campaign of "offers over", led by Robin and Tom Schwartz we finally saw the flurry of footfall in viewings and have ultimately have secured a fantastic and committed buyer. Our journey has not been an easy one, this was a niche property and 2020 has been a challenging year with all the stops and starts in process, but the service and support from Robin and Tom has been unwavering! Professional and always informed, updates were valuable, timely but delivered with genuine warmth and humour. They have both gone above and beyond to help us execute this process and personally invested blood, sweat and tears in chasing down and holding a truly rogue conveyancing firm to account - We could not have asked any more of them and they have undoubtedly been a driving force in ensuring this closed happily and sucessfully for us and our buyer. We cannot recommend Robin and Tom more highly - both fantastic ambassadors of the Winkworth's brand and the estate agency industry - it's been an absolute pleasure working with them. THANK YOU!
