Winkworth have been absolutely amazing for us. Ken in particular has been super helpful in facilitating our purchase. As first time buyers, we didn't really know what to expect when we started (AIP? Survey?? Mortgage offer??? WHAT????) But Ken has been so open with us and quick to respond to any questions or queries that the whole process has been relatively stress free (so far). On top of this, they've all just been really nice, approachable and easy to talk to. These guys are definitely worth working with if you're looking at buying, can't say the same about selling as we're not at that stage yet! But I can say that when we do come to sell, we'll definitely be getting in contact with them. On the 31st of July 2026, we complete on our first house, and we couldn't have done it without the expert help from the team at Winkworth. In particular, Trudy was absolutely fantastic at listening to our needs and communicating them with the sellers. When the process started I felt quite out of my depth, but Trudy really made it feel easier with her reassurance and explanations. Ken also made the whole process easier, being our 'go-to' guy for any extra viewings. When we collected our keys from the office, the whole team seemed delighted for us, and they even gifted us a hamper with a few things to get us started in our new property. Truly a great experience and a team I would recommend to anyone wanting to buy their first property!

I honestly can’t thank Trudy and Greg at Winkworth Reading enough for everything they did during the sale of my house. Selling a property can be incredibly stressful, but Trudy in particular went above and beyond to keep the process moving and, quite frankly, kept me sane throughout it all. She was proactive, persistent, reassuring and always kept me updated. When things became tense towards exchange and completion, she was constantly chasing solicitors, brokers and buyers to make sure everything stayed on track. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble for her. Greg was also fantastic behind the scenes and incredibly helpful whenever things needed sorting quickly. Together they made a brilliant team. Our fridge broke down during a heatwave, James went to Slough for a replacement when there weren't any that would fit in the local stores. She was consistently responsive to all our questions, and the referencing and affordability checks through Goodlord were seamless and straightforward. John has fantastic local knowledge and was able to provide me with expert and relevant advice relating to the sale of my home. There were a few hiccups along the way but John was always able to remain calm and act in my best interests and offer good suggestions to deal with the issues.
