MY STUDENT SON AND HIS STUDENT…

MY STUDENT SON AND HIS STUDENT GIRLFRIEND WERE PROMISED A STUDIO FLAT IN FULHAM ABOVE A SHOP TO THE POINT MY SON TRANSFERRED HIS JOB TO FULHAM.THE LETTING AGENT FROM FULHAM HIGH STREET DECLINED THEM THE PROPERTY DUE TO BEING 20/21.THEY HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A APOLOGY OR THE HOLDING DEPOSIT BACK THAT THE AGENT FROM FULHAM HIGH STREET HARASSED THEM TO PAY BEFORE THE VIEWING.THE WHOLE SITUATION UNPROFFESIONAL.THEY HAVE BEEN TREATED POORLY BASED ON DISCRIMINATION..

Unhelpful and poor customer service.

Avoid at all costs. Agents are not very helpful and when attempting to rent from them, all these additional costs kept cropping up. There are hidden costs ie. inventory, lettings contract costs.Agents are difficult to get hold of and do not return calls.

Top notch service from Winkworth

Winkworth has managed my rental properties for about a decade now.They have always been first rate:streets better than other agents that I have used.I have never had a void period of more than 2 weeks.Their representative,Natasha Conti,who deals with my current property,is excellent.She has an impressive knowledge of the market and of all aspects of the rental business and I have always found her advice as to property presentation extremely helpful.She certainly provides service with a smile,but there is a lot of expertise and hard work behind it.I unreservedly recommend Winkworth.

I switched to Winkworth after an unsuccessful attempt to sell my house through another big name, high street agent a few years ago. I noticed a big difference in the integrity of the people and the service. The fees were slightly better, and they really engaged with me to find the right way to promote our (somewhat unique) property. Overall, I was pleased. I have had a variety of bad experiences with estate agents, and overall I have a very low opinion of the industry. I'm sure Winkworth has their faults, but as estate agents go, I thought these folks were pretty decent.

The Best Estate Agent in Reading. We sold our newly refurbished property through Winkworth. Agents Robin and Michael are the best in town. Got valuable advice from them on how to get a great finish to the property. They gave the best marketing that the property needed, it was advertised on a full page in the local property paper. Couple of open houses were done and the house was sold with in 2 weeks. It was a tough market , yet the team have done extremely well to follow up the sales to completion. Highly Recommended.

Two agents might be better than one.

An encouraging start with a higher than expected valuation and a flexible (timewise) buyer lined up but which in the event wasn't able to be flexible and so bought elsewhere. Many subsequent viewings and second viewings but the agent failed to find a buyer to meet the agents valuation coupled with flexibility. In short, 12 weeks with this sole agency proved a complete waste of time. Regret unable to recommend.

Winkworth Tiverton took over the property management of our tenancy just under a year ago, in that space of time we had three different members of staff managing, they did absolutely nothing to assist in managing the property. The last one 'Candice' was generally rude, unprofessional and dismissive about any queries or requested repairs required.Awful company will never deal with them again nor reccomend

The experience with winkworth is just exceptional , I recently completed on my property and was really impressed by their customer service. They are very responsive and ensure that all updates are provided on timely basis. During my process I was well aware of the progress hence helping me in concentrating on all other things. They will go out of the way and help in other aspects as well to ensure that the whole transition to the new home is smooth. The experience of selling my house with Winkworth Reading couldn't be more satisfactory. We got an outstanding service from beginning to completion. They did a very professional advertisement and marketing strategy on the property and they sold it above asking price the same day it went on the market. Michael, one of the branch directors, was always there to keep us informed on the process. He negotiated chain timelines in a way that all parties were happy, so everything went simple and smooth.

A big Thank You to Winkworth and particuarly James Hathaway who has provided me a first class service in acquiring new tenants for my flat within 3 days and personally going out of his way to ensure the tenants have settled in. He has visited the flat several times to check and resolve issues that existed. Nothing is too much trouble for James, he goes the extra mile to ensure both landlords and tenants are happy and he seems to be available almost 24 hours a day !

Excellent service. Thorough, sincere, responsive and extremely dependable team. Indeed, having interacted with other letting agents, our experience with Winkworth came across as a pleasant surprise. For one, the senior management take customer service seriously - and so you have them out and about, actually showing properties to customers, instead of being inaccessible (which is the case in most places). The entire interaction was very proactive - we were often recommended properties that would suit us - what this means is Winkworth actively participated in our property search, instead of us calling in each time. They were accessible even on a long weekend, giving us updates. Overall a fantastic team!
