Renting in the U.K. is beyond challenging, can be exceptionally overwhelming and is an excruciatingly frustrating experience, which can leave a person extremely disheartened. Many Agents don't bother contacting you back and by the time you have called them (again), the property you are calling about has already been let. Thankfully there are Agents like Ella Woods from Savills. Ella is the ONLY Agent that has gone out of her way to keep in contact with me, and I can honestly say, is the ONLY Agent that actually cares about her clients. Ella has consistently called me, on her own accord, to enquire as to whether I am still searching for rental accommodation. She has provided some valuable insight to increase my chances of securing a property - information that no other Agent has ever volunteered. If there were more agents like Ella, I'm convinced that many renters would no longer perceive renting in the U.K. as a nightmarish experience. We rented with Savills for about a year, the five star review is for their front house. Me and my partner ended up having quite a lot of problems with the management side and were not able to get hold of them for quite a while but their front house manager Ella Woods has been an absolute godsend, she has escalated our issues multiple times, went out of her way to ensure we would get a response when nobody was getting back to us and has gone above and beyond, I couldn’t be more grateful for her. She also arranged a cleaner for us when ours messed us about and has been our point of contact throughout. She even contacted me during her annual leave and even during out of office hours!!!
