I use Prospect to manage my rental flat in Reading as I live away in the North of England. They do an excellent job always attentive and alert me of any issues or deal with my queries very promptly. Vickie is my manager of the property and she does a great job and I feel very reassured the flat is in safe hands. Great value service would highly recommend Prosoect in Reading for any property management.

The best property selling experience

We came to Prospect following a long and arduous journey of not having sold our family home for the last 6 years. From day 1, Beth was there to listen to us and provide us the reassurance that she will get the sale completed. From tailoring the viewings for us and finding a secure buyer everything was done smoothly with impeccable communication. Post move encountered an issue with the moving company leaving a fitting behind, once again Beth was helpful in organising communication with the new buyers for retrieval.Overall I couldn’t recommend Prospect enough to anyone looking to move in the Wokingham area.Will certainly look to obtain services from them in the future.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a somewhat epic chain with my sale and purchase and everything was going along as expected until it wasn’t! Beth came into her own at this point and grabbed it with both hands. She absolutely stepped up and went above and beyond in terms of chasing, calling, emailing. She did way more that the other agents involved in the chain and I’m now comfortably settling in my new house! Something I don’t think that would have happened if Beth hadn’t been prepared to herd all those pesky cats for me! You only know how good someone is when things go wrong…. Thanks Beth!

After shopping around and engaging with a number of estate agents in the area, I found that Prospect came across incredibly professionally and well informed about the market area. They where we’ll prepared and had a professional sales technique using facts and research unlike some. They’ve also represented good value for money and where open to discussing different methods of earning rather than the traditional fixed percentage approach. Not only did we get our property on the market within 48 hours, we sold it in under a week! Prospect take no action agaist tenants who cause a problem

I had to write and say that i totally agree with the review that said that Prospect wont take any action against any of their bad tenants. I have had years of upset with bad tenants put next door to me by Prospect Bracknell and they just are not interested, just say they are not responsible and cant do anything!! Well Prospect check your law an act was passed in 2014 anti social crime and behaviour act allows landlords to take action against noisy neighbours. Although i agree you are not directly responsible for the noise per se, but you as a landlord do have the power to act. Why is it that you 1/ put bad tenants continuously in your properties anyhow and then 2/ fail to ensure that the standards of their tenancy are met?? Dont tell me that the contract does not mention good behaviour because whenever i have rented in the past there have always been certain stipulations eg not making excessive noise!! SO why are you so adamant that you cant and wont sort out your problem tenants?? YOU put them there so you sort them out when they cause a problem. You do have the powers to act but you choose not to act (I guess because you want money from the rent so dont want the tenants out, or perhaps as it comes across by your reactions you just wash your hands of any moral duty!!?) . However you leave their neighbours in an untenable position having to continuously deal with your bad tenants.( Have you ever thought that if you had a zero tolerance for bad behaviour, then that reputation might help you to get good tenants because the bad ones might go elsewhere??? But if you ignore bad behaviour your reputation is that tenants will get away with it whatever they do, and never be held to account, so they will all flock to rent. Do you want continuous aggro from bad tenants and unhappy neighbours, or would you rather a better tenant who causes no problems, and happy neighbours who cause you no problems? Think about it!! )Thanks

Terrible customer experience Ollie Payne. Won’t return deposit

Paid a holding deposit on a property but didn’t sign a contract. Spoke to Ollie Payne who confirmed I would receive this deposit back as we didn’t sign a contract however it’s been over 6 weeks and I have still not received this despite numerous phone calls. Have given my bank details to numerous people on the phone with prospect and have been waiting on an email from ‘Chloe’ for weeks. Very very disappointed as I was expecting Prospect to be a reputable agency however would not recommend this to anybody.

Consistently poor communication and slow action, even when matters are urgent. Important issues are left unresolved for far too long, and tenants are forced to chase for updates. Despite being responsible and cooperative, the service has been disappointing throughout. The agency appears far more focused on property sales than on supporting tenants.
