Leanne Tarrant took on the task of selling our house. She was brilliant from start to finish. We very nearly didn't move at all. She first came to see us in January, when we first decided to sell our house and move away from Rayleigh, but sadly on that occasion we changed our minds and decided to stick with what we had, but it wasn't working and we needed a change of scenery and a different house. At the end of March we called Leanne again and said "Let's Do This!" Not the easiest of house moves by a long shot because when we got over one hurdle another one would replace it but Leanne was always there to help sort any problems, nothing was too much trouble, she even gave birth in the middle of it all and carried on sorting out enquiries three hours after giving birth!! So nine months down the line from when this all started, Leanne has a new Baby and we have a new house. Thanks Leanne, it was a pleasure to meet you and thank you for selling our house! 😉PositiveProfessionalism

Well after an up hill battle that I certainly would have fallen at, Baily came to the rescue. She was absolutely amazing through every step and hurdle we hit. Dan at Nest was very easy to work with and I highly recommend! I had a quick sale after my flat was on the market for a year a half and I’d lost two buyers. Leanne has been amazing. From the moment i first spoke to her and arranged the viewing, to actually seeing the house, loving it and it becoming ours. She guided us through all the processes (as first time buyers we had no idea what we were doing in what order!). Leanne was just a phone call or text away literally 24 hours a day, nothing was too much trouble, even meeting us on a Sunday for a second viewing. I don’t think we’ll be moving from our house but if we did it would 100% be through Leanne and would recommend any one to use her. You won’t be disappointed, you can tell she loves her job, she’s fully dedicated and gives a more than 5* service!!!

I can honestly say buying and selling during a pandemic, whilst racing to save on stamp duty has had its challenges. One person that has made it all possible really and has helped and gone above and beyond every step of the way was Dan at Nest in Essex. From how brilliantly our house was marketed and how well organised the viewings were we knew we had made the right decision about our agent. One weekend of viewings we had three offers, two above asking price and then the fun really begins. Dan recommended our mortgage advisor, our solicitors and has been instrumental in pushing it all across the line. He has been a great support and the only element of the process that was actually relatively stress free. I can't recommend Dan and Nest in Essex more.

I’m sure Dan at nest will be the first to admit that our experience has been far from the norm, just in terms of how long the process has taken, and the twists & turns along the way. None of this, however, has had anything to do with Nest or Dan! I would like to thank Leanne and Dan at the nest for making the usual difficult and stressful process of selling / buying a house, a very smooth and reassuring experience. We loved the way the nest sold our home, from the pictures and videos, to the way that they handled the viewings. Everything was extremely professional and they were very supportive the entire time. They have both been an integral part of the process and we couldn't fault them in any way. The service we have received from both of them has been nothing short of outstanding. Dan sold our home for more then the asking price and when it came down to dealing with the solicitors, paperwork and questions from buyers etc, leanne was on hand 24-7 to help with papeer work, enquires and chasing everyone. The communication has been 10/10 from the outset and they have awnsered all of our queries despite the time of day. We purchased a property from Dan at Nest in Rayleigh. Whilst he was not our estate agent he helped us complete on the sale. Our purchase took 12 months to complete (due to no fault of Nest) and Dan was there the whole way keeping us up to date and giving us advice. We used a internet estate agent for our sale who was useless and Dan helped pick up the slack and went out of his way to get this sorted for us. He was a great help with chasing solicitors for our very long chain and was happy to go out of his way to do so. I would highly recommend you use Nest and next time we move we definitely will! Dan and the team at Nest were nothing short of amazing in our house move. Dan took the time to visit us before we had decided to put our house on the market, and spent one evening talking to us about various aspects to consider. He was open and honest, and no question was too much trouble. And this is exactly how Dan continued throughout the whole process. A process which was far from easy, and at two separate points we felt things may come crashing down, but thanks to Dan’s efforts they didn’t. I’d dealt with another local estate agent and they were worlds apart - think typical salesman vs talking to a friend. With Dan, and all the team at Nest, we felt we had a friend in the process. Leanne was equally amazing at chasing our chain and solicitors along and must have the patience of a saint! Having both of them at the end of a WhatsApp, at any time, made all the difference and we can’t thank them enough. A family member recommended Dan and Nest and I am so glad they did. From start to finish Dan has been professional yet extremely approachable. The communication has been excellent throughout the whole process. He was honest and upfront with the valuation of our house and guided us through our marketing options. What an amazing service! Nest in Essex pride themselves on not being your typical estate agent and we can absolutely testify to that. Nick was professional, trustworthy and honest from the very start and didn't lead us into any false pretences when pricing our property. The photos and video that he took of the property were to a high standard and within the first few days of our property being on the market, he had secured 16 viewings for the following Saturday. We absolutely trusted Nick with all of the viewings and we're so glad we did, we received two above asking price offers on the first day of viewings of which we accepted. Nick and his team have been excellent at putting our house on the market, listening to what we needed, and going the extra mile to ensure a fast and effective sale. Requested to view a property via the online site then had an email back asking for my phone number even though it was input online. I also called to view the property and was advised that someone would call me back to arrange in 24 hours. It seems as though they have a hub which then contacts the actual office. Not ideal if you are looking for a quick response, they didn't even know the sellers positon. Then when we finally got to view the property a week after we enquired, no one even bothered to call me to see what we thought of the viewing. There are much better estate agents out there, a fancy listing on Rightmove is not enough to sell a house.
