Highly recommend the MA team. Due to their excellent reputation, I didn't bother with other agents and just instructed them. I was impressed with their realistic valuation and the fact that they didn't exaggerate the price of my property just to get instructed, which sadly some agents are guilty of! Kristina and Karen are a real asset to the team with their proactive approach in making things happen. In my experience, local EA's will always work harder for their clients and MA are an excellent example of this.

Daylight robbery ID check fees

Called the Folkestone branch to enquire why ads for properties they are selling contain a note that all buyers must pay £60 plus VAT for anti money laundering checks before a memorandum of sale can be issued. The girl I spoke to simply said that this was a policy set by their head office. These checks cost pocket change and most estate agents in the area (I checked with at least 8 of them) told me they cover this as a normal cost of business. Charging this sort of price is nothing more than utter greed and profiteering off of people who don't realise they're being fleeced. When I told the girl that this would prevent me from buying a property through them she was unconcerned. I hope potential sellers realise that their business practices will put buyers off. Absolutely unacceptable.

I really can’t recommend Micheal Anthony’s enough. This was the second time we used them (first time we brought a property and this time we sold through them) and throughout the whole process, we were kept informed and listened to regularly. Have to say a special thank you to Kristina M who was my sales progressor- she was so helpful, pro active, consistent, friendly and really empathised with us when things became stressful (through no fault of micheal Anthony’s). She helped ensure any lose ends were tied up efficiently and the process was extremely quick thanks to her hard work. We decided to sell our lovely home in July as we need to upgrade ourselves from 3 bedrooms to 4 bedrooms home since having 2 children and Andrew Kerr has been designated as our estate agent. I would like to say he has been brilliant all the way through the entire process providing us with all the information and assistance whenever needed. He is a great asset for the company, extremely professional, really has that "know how" factor, he is very patient and always in great mood, just gives you that confidence that all will be handled properly. Would also like to mention Ben who assisted with viewings of the property and he found our buyers (lucky them by the way as they got a great house) Kristina from sales progression team is also fantastic, she helped us a lot specially at the final stage and she got involved following up every step to complete the sale accordingly in a timely manner. We are extremely grateful for the assistance of the entire team, as every time we made a phone call they did action and tried their best. Many many thanks from all 4 of us. We are looking forward to moving into our new forever home. By the way.. Almost forgot.. After only 4 viewings we got 3 offers and we accepted obviously the highest one, which says a lot about the company reputation, therefore we highly recommend it

DATA BREACH & INCORRECT INFO

I keep being contacted in relation to a property I have not been on the tenancy agreement for since Nov 2023. Despite being told it was an error on previous occasions and records would be updated...the last communications (after I responded to an email) advised I was still on said tenancy and it would be looked into. I forwarded proof of my release from the tenany and have been advised ''we'll look to get you removed'' this has been over a week and communications have been lacking and I am completely in limbo with what's going on. This is also a blatant GDPR breach.
